☀️ Summer Announcement! ☀️

Safety is always my number one priority, so to keep your lovely doggos safe this summer I’ll be offering alternatives when it is too hot to be out walking! These include morning walks, home visits, summer safe playground visits etc.

Why are playground trips so great and why do I think they’re so beneficial?

🐶 These are a great opportunity for your dogs to socialise in a safe, controlled environment. All dogs have been selected to play together by matching personality traits, play style, age, temperament etc. I know all of the dogs and trust they are all suitable to join in the fun. We have zero risk of strangers/ unknown dogs approaching which means it’s extra safe so therefore extra fun!

🐶 They get to be off lead for the full hour, meaning they are able to run until their heart is content.. although they absolutely don’t have to and are free to stop, sniff and even have a lay down if they want to! We don’t have to stop and lead up at any point like we do on public lead walks when we see other onlead dogs approaching. There’s also no risk of anyone doing a runner and getting lost.. unless they can jump 6-8ft fences, but why would anyone want to do that when all their friends are inside having fun? 😜

🐶 I use 8 different playgrounds to always make sure walks are mixed up so the dogs don’t get bored, we also use enrichments for mental stimulation and this is a great place to practice safe recall!

🐶 These are open to all of my clients, weather they use my services to socialise their dog, to tire them out or just to add some excitement and fun to their dogs days!

🐾 Our week so far 🐾

This week we welcomed gorgeous Teddy to the Paws on The Floor family 🐶🫶🏼

The rain hasn’t stopped our fun! 🌧️ We’ve been rolling in the mud, splashing in puddles, climbing on logs and having fun with friends! 🐶 We’ve explored some new places, chased after balls and of course had lots of cuddles!! 🥰💗

🎉 🥳 Today marks a very special first birthday… Paws on The Floor’s! 🥳🎉

My little idea to turn something I love into a business that would help other dog owners have a bit more freedom and be able to relax knowing their doggy is in safe & caring hands, having lots of fun has been growing for a whole year!

I’m so grateful to each and every client for trusting me with your pups, it’s been amazing getting to know them all so well, learning their individual quirks and personalities and watching their friendships blossom!

I’m looking forward to another fabulous year with all my gorgeous doggies, with lots of new & exciting things coming… starting with a little bit of rebranding… please see my new logo! 👏🏼 👇🏼

My new uniform is on its way 🤭

☀️ Good Morning ☀️

Just a polite reminder that all invoices are sent out on a Friday, and have been for the last 5 months. Please please please can you make sure you’re adding a reminder to your phone to pay your invoice on time. It’s becoming extremely time consuming having to send out repeated reminders. To those who pay as soon as their invoices are received thank you so so much!

Going forward if payments are not made by Sunday very latest, I won’t be able to hold your slots for the following week.

I’m really sorry to have to do this, but it is really helpful if everyone could pay their invoices when they’re due.

This is what the team thought of the playground 👀😁

Fridays are the new playground day! What is a playground trip? 🤔

A small group of dogs come with me to the playground, which is an enclosed, dog friendly, secure area with lots of space to run free and also enjoy some toys, enrichment’s and stimulation activities. They get off lead social time to play, sniff, explore and run! 💨

This is great for any dogs that…
🏡 Live alone and would like some more social interactions!
👶🏼 Are young and would benefit from learning behaviour and manners from other dogs, including how to play nicely, when dogs don’t want to play, signals and signs etc!
🏃🏼‍♂️ Need a really great off lead run, without the worry of your dog not coming back!
🗣️ Need some recall practice with lots of positive reinforcement!
🧠 Enjoy burning lots of mental energy, lots of sniffing to be done, new areas are always full of new interesting scents which help the dogs learn about the environment!
🎉 Want something fun to break up their day, it’s the dog mum equivalent of taking your child to the soft play 🤭

These sessions are always monitored closely and all groups are put together with careful consideration of personality & play style matches in mind.
