John and I want to thank Jonah Beleckis for the beautiful article he wrote for Wisconsin Public Radio. The continued support and well wishes of so many of you warms our hearts.

Dorothy and John Priske chose in the late 1990s to shift their farm to a more environmentally friendly all-grass system. It was a decision that started them on a path to selling their cattle’s meat across the state.

Sunday at the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation annual meeting, we received the 2021 Wisconsin Leopold Conservation Award. We were blown away by the beautiful video created by the Sand County Foundation. It brought tears to our eyes. a sincere thank you for this great honor.

We're excited about our collaboration with Madison College and look forward to sharing our farm with you! Please join us for a tour on June 29th or June 30th.

Reminder!! The Wisconsin Farm Experience will be held next weekend Saturday, June 29th from 10am - 12pm and Sunday, June 30th from 1pm - 3 pm.

Everyone is invited to the “Wisconsin Farm Experience” at the Fountain Prairie Farm in Fall River. The farm is leased by Madison College. The two-hour tour includes a wagon ride across the property while learning about the farm's history, conservation practices and local food production.

The weather today is cold, windy and wet but we were uplifted emotionally by this article in our local paper. We look forward to working with Madison College and Andy, Sadie and Abel of Fischer Family Farms.

We haven't posted anything in quite a while. I guess we didn't have much to say until now. Beyond excited to be working with Madison College.

Madison Area Technical College has entered into a lease agreement with John and Dorothy Priske, owners of Fountain Prairie Farm in Fall River, for 165 workable acres of farm property.

We are so excited and proud; our bull, FHP Alpha, was named Grand Champion Highland Bull at the 2015 World Beef Expo! Thank you so much Moll Cattle Company and Whitney Moll for making him look so good inside and outside the show ring. Couldn't have done it without your help.

It's a bittersweet day at Fountain Prairie. The sad news; we sold most of our herd of Highland cattle and this is the last load leaving the farm. The happy news; we sold most of our herd of Highland cattle to a nice young couple from Oregon, Kevin and Keely Oppermann of Highland Spring Farm. We know they'll take good care of the girls. We'll tell you more of our story in an upcoming newsletter, but right now the open road is calling us.
