Meet the artist!

I’m Zoe, I’m 21 years old, and I “recycle” animals.

Thanks to rehabbers, farmers, neighbors, friends, hunters, and sadly, roadkill, I am able to make something beautiful out of something sad.

A lot of people assume I hate animals because of what I do, but it’s actually the complete opposite. I have so much respect for every specimen I work on and I like to think I’m honoring them in some way.

Anyways, I have an Etsy shop where I sell bone jewelry and small oddities at affordable prices. Everything is sourced ethically and handmade by me!! Eventually I will be selling my taxidermy on my Etsy, but not quite yet.

I am a young taxidermist who works with animals that passed naturally. These ducklings belonged to a family and passed three years ago. They made the decision to donate them to me to practice my art with, as well as make them appear alive again. They liked the idea of having their loved animals be loved again, by someone else, even in death.

I know death makes a lot of people uncomfortable, especially when it’s baby animals. Working with specimens like this can be challenging emotionally, but overall I’ve found that it helps me cope with my huge emotions for living beings. I have so much respect for each animal I work with and am so grateful for donactions like this.

If you think what I do is disrespectful, you don’t truly understand the beauty in it. If you think it’s weird, yeah it kinda is. But it’s what I love doing. So please keep those negative comments to yourself or you will be reported ❤

Hi friends! My name is Zoe, I’m 21, and I am currently in school for taxidermy. I also collect oddities like bones n such! I began this journey early this year and it has become my whole life.

I source a lot of my specimens from roadkill as well as donations from farmers, rehabbers, hunters, neighbors & friends!

I like to think what I do is “recycling” these animals to honor them and their existence.

I make bone jewelry, keychains, preserved animal paws, jarred specimens, and more all for affordable prices on my Etsy shop! Everything is cleaned and processed by me. Thanks for the support😁
