Lucas County Pit Crew Lucas County Pit Crew seeks to rescue homeless dogs and cats in our local area and place them into forever loving homes.

Lucas County Pit Crew supports responsible guardians of Pit Bull type dogs and community cats in our community through education, advocacy, training assistance, spay/neuter promotion, and adoption.

There is still time to donate to the Dia/Stalker Toy and Pet Supplies Drive! If you would like to donate, please drop items off no later than August 9th by 4:00 PM to the Ottawa Park Station (2145 N. Cove Blvd Toledo, Oh 43606) or located at the Safety Building (525 N.Erie Toledo, Oh 43604) or Scott Park Station (2301 Nebraska Toledo, Oh 43607).

Items ordered thru Amazon can only be delivered to the Ottawa Park Station between the hours of 8:00AM – 4:00PM (Monday thru Friday). To ensure proper delivery times,

Donations will be distributed on August 13th. Toys to Toledo Children's Hospital, dog supplies to Toledo Humane Society and Lucas County Pit Crew.

Please ensure that items are dropped off by August 9th at the latest.

Our Story

Lucas County Pit Crew offers dog training, dog safety education, spay/neuter vouchers, and dog and cat food through our food bank and outreach program. We place a priority on intaking our local dogs and cats into foster homes and prepare them for adoption into loving families. We specialize in providing outstanding care to medically fragile animals. Operated entirely by volunteers, we make a positive difference in our community every single day.
