Jasper (fka Liam from Arkansas) just celebrated his 9th Gotha Day with his family, which includes AHR's own Events Coordinator Extraordinaire! Jeannie met Jasper (then Liam) at an adoption event that she was running and she fell hard for this sweet boy, and the rest is history.

Here is what her family had to say: "9 years ago we brought Jasper (Liam) into our home. He continues to be the bestest boy. He loves his mom and human sister the best but also loves his dad. He is very tolerant of his fur sister (Layla) and they keep each other company. Jasper’s favorite things are snacks, naps and following his mom around. Never a fan of car rides or swimming but loves marrow bones and tearing stuffies apart for the squeaker. We are thankful to AHR for bringing Jasper into our lives". And we are thankful that you fell so hard for him!

Kobe is one of the most handsome hounds in all the land! Why doesn't he have a home yet? Good question! Kobe is sweet, sensitive, and walks well on leash. He enjoys other dogs, walks, chewing bones and running like the wind.

And yet another small dog looking for his forever home! Polo is 1 year old, 16lb Chihuahua mix who is a fun-sized bundle of affection, energy, with the biggest, cutest ears you’ve ever seen. This little guy is equal parts cuddle bug and adventure buddy, and he’s looking for a home that will give him the patience and partnership he deserves.

Tinkerbell has been with us since November. It's well past her time to find her forever home. She is adored by her foster parents (and her previous fosters) and when she had to spend a week with a different foster recently, THAT foster also adored her! Our fosters keep asking is why she hasn't had any interest and we really just don't know why. She is described by everyone who meets her as sweet, funny and affectionate. Happy Gotcha Day to Bear (fka Braxton from Louisiana)! This sweet, floofy guy just looks so dang happy, we love to see (and hear) it!

From his Mom: "Wow does time fly. We can't believe it's already been a year and boy has it been a wild ride. From Bear traveling up from Louisiana, to picking him up to join our family, to disc golfing, camping, his first snow, meeting new family and friends, many car rides, adventures and some health challenges. Despite the ups and downs, we wouldn't trade it for the world. We are so grateful to have him in our family and thank you for bringing him into our lives."

Happy Six months in your forever home, Tekoa (fka Kole from Louisiana)!

What a cute update from his Mom: "Tekoa has certainly become an integral part of our family. He enjoys hiking, digging in the sand at the beach (or our lawn), playing fetch in the yard, and sitting on the couch watching the traffic go by. He has even made a few friends from his training class and loves to have them over for puppy play dates! He has learned his routines and makes sure to remind us when it is meal time and blesses each meal with a happy dance. We could not imagine our lives without our sweet and slightly crazy boy."
