Teamwork makes the dream work! Our IEA team co-hosted our biggest show yet with Morningside Stables at Columbia Horse Center. Horses and humans did an amazing job throughout the day. Thanks to all the teams who attended, everyone who volunteered to keep the day running smoothly, and our wonderful judge & steward. A special congrats goes out to our very own Celtic Charm, who won Horse of the Day! 💚🍀

Clover Luck’s adult equitation teams (Shamrocks & Unicorns) got together for a first full practice last weekend. We are so excited for another season of fun, learning, and camaraderie with National Capital Adult Equitation League.

Hip hip hooray for our inaugural Domino Derby champions, Joy on Holly(Junior Derby) and Alicenne on Tate (Adult Derby)! We are excited to make this an annual Clover Luck tradition.

It was an absolutely gorgeous day celebrating our community and enjoying fun times with our horses. Congrats to all our competitors for a wonderful day. 💚🍀💚🍀

We were so surprised, humbled, and honored to be named Howard Soil Conservation District's Cooperator of the Year. We are committed to conservation and implementing environmental best practices around our farm. We're so thankful to have the support of the best conservationists in our area, who have helped us implement rotational grazing, a new agricultural well, stream fencing, runoff management, and more! Coming soon- a program dedicated to pollinator gardens, animal trails & walkways, and a manure collection facility. Thanks to all the amazing folks at Howard Soil Conservation District for a fantastic year of partnership and for all your hard work on behalf of the Howard County farming community. 🍀🍀🍀🍀

Adult campers checked off a bucket list item this week…swimming with our horses! Shoutout to High Tide Farm on the Magothy River for their hospitality on a beautiful evening. Our mares were super brave, as we knew they would be! 💚🍀

Thanks to Dover Saddlery - Crofton, MD for donating coolers as prizes for the all the “Horse of the Show” winners from last season of National Capital Adult Equitation League! Our very own Celtic Charm was delighted to receive his today. He can’t wait to rock it this winter at horse shows.

[For those who know him, yes, he still is competing after all these years! He is currently happily celebrating his 16th show season. We are so proud of this amazing athlete… aka the original Clover Luck horse!]

It was an awesome week at our annual Intermediate/Advanced camp. Our riders worked hard and rode beautifully. They participated in several clinics with industry professionals, demonstrated their thirst for knowledge, and showed their commitment to good horsemanship & sportsmanship. Thanks to our amazing clinicians for sharing their expertise. To our riders- we are so proud of all of you!!

The horses are loving all the Spring grass. We are thankful to work with Howard Soil Conservation District to implement best practices for rotational grazing. The horses are about to move onto the pastures that have been resting and growing since last Fall, and they are so excited!

Several of our lease riders had a great first show of the season a few weekends ago at Morningside Stables at Columbia Horse Center. We are so proud of everyone!

*Keira and Yoshi - Champion in Short Stirrup Eq and Reserve Champion in Short Stirrup Hunter
*Joanna and George- Champion in Beginner Eq
*Sam and Reason- Champion in Low Adult Eq, great ribbons in pleasure, and Reason was Reserve High Point Thoroughbred!
*Kayla and Gwen- Champion in the 2' jumpers
*Rachel and Lacey- great rounds in 18" jumpers and great ribbons in MHSA pleasure flat classes.
*Alicenne and Tate- great rounds in the 18" jumpers and the Modified Hunters (our baby horse is growing up!)
*Juli and Holly & Kristie and Carrot- great ribbons in MHSA pleasure division
