It was one year ago yesterday, I said goodbye to this beautiful girl. When I started planning to move to Florida, I knew it was time to find her a new home. Leticia was/is the sweetest Green Anaconda I have ever had the privilege of working with. I’ve had many Anacondas over the years, but she was by far the tamest and most gentle. I raised her from a 2 ft, three month old baby, to an 8 year old, 13 ft. gentle giant. I thank God that she is in great hands, and I’m grateful that I’ll get to see her again someday. 😌🙏💚

Hey everybody! 👋 I hope everyone is doing well!

So, it has been two years since I bred Ball Pythons… back in 2021, I felt like I needed to take a little time away to focus on my mental health. I’m very happy to say I’m doing so much better now! Life is so good and I couldn’t be happier. A lot has changed for me these last couple years. One of those changes being my location. I recently moved from Tulsa, OK to Orlando, FL. I’m also very happy to announce that I’m about to start breeding again! A couple years ago I downsized the collection to really just focus on my mental and emotional well-being, but I held back a very nice, solid group of animals to work with.

Going forward, Sacred Exotics will be focusing on select quality genetics. We’re also going to be working with a lot of recessives such as Clown, DG, Hypo, Pied, and Albino. I’ll be working to make double, triple, and eventually quad recessive animals. If you know me, you know I like the dark stuff. So, we have a lot of Black Head and Super Black Head combos in the works!

For those of you that have been following us for the last few years, thank you for sticking around! I’m very excited to start breeding again and I believe the best is yet to come! Next year we should have some really nice hatchlings and hopefully I’ll get back to vending reptile shows. Praying everyone is blessed, healthy, and happy! All of the babies from clutch 21-12 are out! This was a smaller clutch, but it sure didn’t disappoint! This clutch ended up being dual sired! We paired a Mardi Gras male (Enchi Asphalt Yellow Belly) to a Black Pastel Yellow Belly female as well as a Fire Leopard Clown Het. Albino male to the BP YB. Looks like the Mardi Gras sired all but one! That Black Pastel Fire Yellow Belly Het. Clown is HOTTTT! And it’s a female!

I haven’t been posting many clutches lately, but thought I’d share this one with y’all. This is clutch 21-11. Pairing was Banana Mystic Potion x GHI. One of those Banana GHI Mystic/Mojave is a female and she will be staying here, but everything else will be available after a few meals.

We only have two clutches left in the incubator. The next clutch due to hatch is from Fire Leopard Clown Het. Albino x Black Pastel Yellow Belly and the last clutch due is from Fire Leopard Clown Het. Albino x Black Pastel Spotnose.

These will be my last two clutches for the next couple years. I’ll be taking a break from breeding and then pick it back up again when my holdbacks from this year are adults and ready to breed in 2023 or 2024. It’s been a ton of fun and I’m going to miss breeding, but the next two years I’ll be focusing on other important things in life.

I have learned a lot this last year and a half and one of the most important things I’ve learned is that life is short and we only get one chance at this thing. What we do with our life here on earth will echo in eternity. I’ll be taking the next two years to focus on serving God and serving people here in the states as well as overseas on the foreign mission field. I pray that each and every one of you make the most of everyday you have, because you truly never know when it will be your last. Live each day with intention. Live each day as if it were your last. I love you guys and hope y’all are happy, healthy, and fulfilled in whatever it is that you do. Make the most of everyday and leave a positive mark. God bless you all! 🖤✌🏼

Sacred Exotics was officially founded by Matthew and Jeny Long in 2016. Matthew has been passionate about reptiles all his life and has been keeping snakes and other exotic animals for over 15 years.
