Marge was awesome! She took excellent care of our two dogs three cats and two fish tanks. I highly recommend this wonderful small business. Marge at Home Run Pet Care is amazing. She not only made sure our kitty, Bella, was fed and ok, she spent time with her daily. Bella is not a trusting cat, and she fully trusts Marge. That made us relax when we were out of town.

Great info for all of us, but especially important this morning for everyone in the path of Milton. In case cell towers are down after the storm moves through you may be able to send messages via satellite. If you or someone with you has an iPhone this could be helpful, but you will need to make sure your iphone has the most recent update now, while power and internet are still working well. Stay safe!

Tami and crew at Home Run Pet Care are fantastic. I’ve used them several times. Pricing is very reasonable. I get daily updates on my cats, along with pics from every visit. Highly recommend.

Nashville is supposed to hit 101 today. Please be careful with your pets and limit outside time. When the thermometer climbs above 90 degrees, the pavement and sidewalks can become dangerously hot. I checked the surface temps and the blacktop road was 140.0 degrees, the sidewalk was 136.5 degrees and the grass was 117.8 degrees. This was 11:30 in the morning yesterday. At these temperatures, your dog's paws can suffer burns in under a minute of contact. Today will be even hotter. A simple test you can do is to place the back of your hand on the pavement—if it’s too hot for you to keep your hand there, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws. Meet Duke and Loretta, two of our MVP furry clients! 🐶❤️
When we first started walking Duke, he had a habit of pulling and reacting to other dogs. But look at him now! With regular walks and positive reinforcement, Duke has grown up into such a sweet gentleman. We’re so proud of him, especially when he sits patiently and smiles at us while watching other dogs pass by. His progress has been incredible, and we love showering him with affection!

Loretta, on the other hand, has knee issues, so she enjoys mini adventures in her yard. She might not go on long walks, but she makes sure both she and Duke get their treats after our visits. 🍖🐕
