Kona is approaching her 5 year mark at the shelter- 5 years without a family. She was an owner surrender back in 2018 to no fault of her own. Unfortunately, there has been barely any interest in her over the years. Kona will require multiple visits in order to trust her new family as she is very shy at first (but very treat motivated). She adores the volunteers that walk her daily, and she loves to go for car rides with them! She is slow to warm to new people, and would do best with no small children in the home. Because of her flighty demeanor, a fenced in yard is required in her new home. Once she trusts you, she is a very playful, happy girl. Kona would be best as the only animal in the home, she wants to have your undivided attention and love!
Kona is almost 6 years old and has spent most of her life here. Could you be her forever family?
