Get a Scared Street Dog to Trust You 🤝
Most of the scared get comfortable quickly if we are able to give them space. Dogs are different than humans in expressing emotions, and not all of them find comfort in hugs, kisses, cooing talk or close touch 🐾🐾
So how do you get a insecure or scared dog to trust you?
DO NOT RUSH! TAKE IT SLOW.
The worst mistake that most of us make is that we move too fast in front of dogs.
Before running, standing, shouting, or make any sudden alarming movement, we should always try to get the dog’s attention quietly. You can use a name or just call out softly. For instance, We say, "Aur bhai kya haal hain 🐶😆" (Buddy, how are you)
This helps the dogs anticipate our movements and they not feel intimidated when we move in front of them. The idea is never to surprise the dogs – we need to make sure they know when we are about to move or do something inside their territory.
Please incorporate this kindly and slowly during your daily rendezvous with Community Dogs and you will see that their insecurity or agitation towards you disappears in no time.
