Something has been weighing heavy on my chest & social media is the last place I want to spend my time when I’m processing it all.
I apologize if this is not as eloquently written as you’d like...
A customer...or as I would say, a friend I met on here lost their battle with depression end of April. Through the short time I knew them, they made a huge impact on me. What a bright & bubbly person. Writing this now, my eyes are welling up as I try to hold back the tears. It’s funny because I never realized I would make so many beautiful connections online with my small little ol’ dog bakery business. Yet, this is now the 3rd person since UBB has started that has lost their battle.
I want you all to know how very loved you are. How incredibly precious & magical you are. How worthwhile & important you are.
I am here to talk with you, just please don’t leave. ❤️
We need more people like you to change the world.
Mental health is health. Full stop.
May is mental health awareness month.
People with anxiety are not being rude because they cancel plans last second or won’t look you in the eye.
People with depression are not lazy because they are unable to leave their bed or do their laundry
People living with a mental illness are NOT crazy.

Their work paved the way for Harris (and many many more in the past), the first female, first Black and first Asian American vice president. Harris is, to her supporters, the long-awaited torchbearer for centuries of women, people of color and others whose ambitions were denied and who never saw themselves reflected in the nation’s leadership before.
And we do not have to look far ahead to see the future of women’s equality. It is present and bold, in the determined, strong, fervent lives of our wives, sisters, mothers, daughters and granddaughters. And it is present in the faces of the men who are supporting & standing up for women who are securing our future and continuing the fight for equity of ALL women.
