Recently my neighbor passed away and she had several feral cats that she would feed who lived outdoors. I have been working to re-home these cats at various local no-kill shelters. before we have take them to the Limestone animal shelter. We have four adult cats and 10 kittens left.

Eevee is super sweet and is good around kids, and other animals! She is a Field Lab mix with a beautiful coat! She not much of a barker, so your neighbors won’t mind her either!

"Wanted to send you an update on baby Miyah (not so much a baby any more)!

"She's is holding her tiny body mass at 82lbs, she doesn't even know she's a big girl and likes to sit on my chest when we're laying around watching TV.

"Her favorite time of day is when she wakes me up so I get out of bed so she can get back in it in my pillows to sleep another hour!

"She's very funny and loud and is still a baby even at 5."

Rigsby--
This is an updated picture of Rigsby and family.
Rigsby had his leg removed 10 years ago.
He is still with us and just never realized from the very beginning that he was missing a leg! He is the one that came around the table at Petco, and jumped up in Sandra's lap, gave her bunches of kisses and then took off and ran all over the store!

UPDATE -- Boots is in a foster home now.

Boots is a 10-month old Lab mix. She is about 40 pounds, spayed, has all of her shots and is housebroken. Boots loves everyone she meets and just wants to cuddle. She is not cat-friendly and we aren't currently sure about how she would do with other dogs. She is full of energy and would love to play ball all day long if she could. Her owner was in a terrible car accident and can no longer care for her. Boots is currently looking for her Fur-Ever home.

Snuggle, Dot and White Fang are male kittens born August 8 2020. They are very active and love to cuddle when they're being petted. They have had the first set of vaccines after 8 weeks. They will have the rest of their vaccinations and be neutered before they are adopted.

UPDATE -- Pretty Baby has been adopted.

Pretty Baby needs a home!

PB (Pretty Baby) is a beautiful golden hound mix around 2-3 yrs old and approx. 50 lbs. She may have some Vizsla in her!

She is a sweetheart with a silly side that loves to cuddle and be near you. PB is very intelligent and knows many commands, such as sit, lay down, up, wait, come and leave it. She is crate trained and also walks nicely on a leash with a head harness. This girl loves to run and she plays well with other large dogs.

PB was injured and starving on the streets and brought into our home. She has suffered some trauma and because of this has seperation anxiety and some trust issues with new folks. PB needs an experienced dog owner to help her grow. With the proper care, time and attention, PB will be a real treasure to your home!

PB is a very good girl and will do anything to make you happy and find her forever home.

UPDATE -- Coque has been adopted.

We adopted Coque ("Coke") at 4 months old. She is now 3 years old, and her birthday is March 6, 2017. She is extremely sweet and loved. It's very painful to re-home her but we feel that would give her the best opportunity to live a life suited for her gentle personality. She does have random bursts of playfulness, but really loves to sleep and be lazy or cuddle, and will let you know when it's time for bed or pets.

While she's good with other pets & kids, she can also be easily spooked or scared, resulting in some anxiety. We have 3 other cats, one of whom seems to have territory issues with her. We've learned this can happen in a home of all female cats, even if they're all fixed. We feel she would do well where she can feel safe as a single pet in an affectionate and chaos-free home.

Maple is a young terrier mix, about a year old. Here is her story as told by the lady who's been caring for her:

"Maple was dropped off at my house when she was a puppy. Someone drove up and put her out and then drove off.
She came right up to me and she’s been here ever since.

She’s shy when you first walk up to her but within seconds she starts showing you how happy she is.
She ducks her head down until you get close enough and then she starts running wild around you, you can barely keep up. For that reason alone, I try to keep her away from my toddler. I don’t want her getting too crazy and knocking my child down.

But she loves kids, people, cats and dogs. No aggression whatsoever. The only behavioral problem I’ve noticed with her is she whines when she can’t be around people."

Marley is a young terrier mix, likely 3-4 years old. When she had no where to go, she was taken in by a very kind young lady. Unfortunately the lady can no longer keep her. Here is what she says:
"Marley is very sweet and shy. She’s good with cats, dogs, and people. She LOVES my toddler and is very protective of her so she’s great with kids. She seems to be scared of men, though.

I suspect she may have been abused in the past. She’s not aggressive but she will squat and p*e when she feels like shes going to get in trouble. When she first came to me, I would try to give her treats and she would p*e on the floor. It’s gotten better with her but she still does it from time to time."

Four beautiful black kittens for adoption. Their mother brought them to another young mother who has been doing her utmost to help them. TLC for Paws is going to have them fixed and properly vetted before they go to their adoptive homes.

Jack and Jade are 6 months old and a bit skittish because their mom was tardy in bringing them in for human companionship. Salem and Sammy are 9 weeks old. They are good with people, kids, dogs, cats, babies, in short most anyone.

Hi! My name is "BO". I am a 2 1/2 year old Mixed Lab.
I weigh between 60-75 lbs. and I have been neutered.
I like to play fetch, tug of war, and love to get belly rubs!!
I like to take naps especially when it's raining. I have a
dog house I like to get in to sleep.
I also like to lay in the sunshine when it's not super hot;
but then I need lots of water.
I eat Nature's Recipe Chicken and Sweet Potato dog food;
and let me say it is SUPER good! I love that stuff!!!
I like to take walks on my leash but I'm still learning how to do that.

"My name is Krysy Richards and we live in Midland City al and I am not sure how far you are from us
but I was hoping you would have it in your heart to see if you had a female blue pit there.
Dyna has no white on her face.
She has what looks like a cross on her chest and white on her back toes. She is very sweet.
She was stolen out of our back yard.
Dyna is chipped but when it was tested it took like 5-6 swipes to get it to read.
They told me it would be fine. She is not fixed. If you could keep an eye out for her I would really appreciate that.

Woo Hoo! Bear was adopted today!

Bear is an 8 year old American Bully who has had to part ways with her longtime owner.
She loves to play with high energy dogs, but also enjoys lying around and snoozing on the couch! She gets along great with kids and lived with a young boy at her original home and currently lives with a 7 year old girl at her foster home.

Carlos is one happy, go lucky pup!
And did I mention, handsome?
Always wagging his tail and wanting to be close by his human.
He loves to give kisses, loves to cuddle and stand on your lap.
Carlos gets along with other dogs, loves to play with them (even big dogs!)
and walks well on a leash.
Bonus: He is also house trained!
Carlos loves to play outside and has done well in the crate for short periods when necessary.
He has not been cat tested. He will be neutered and up to date on all shots shortly. Carlos needs to find a new home.

Daisy is a young dog in search of a forever home. She found some kind people about a week and a half ago and they tell us she is a real sweetheart. She's a playful pup and is a joy to be around. They are looking for a good home for her, as they cannot keep her themselves. She enjoys playing and romping around outside. She has been great with their two dogs and two cats (though one of the dogs and one of the cats are a little less enthusiastic). UPDATE: BOBO HAS BEEN ADOPTED
Bobo is a young dog who needs a home. He's very sweet, has a calm personality. Looks like part black and tan German Shepherd, maybe six months old.

The grandchildren are calling him BoBo and he loves playing with them, chasing balls and other chew toys. We think he might be teething, and we have several chewies for him. Bobo is outgoing and gets along well with our dogs. He is interested in the cats also, would like to play with them. The cats are not impressed. He has a gentle demeanor and is calm. I think I have heard him bark once, but it hasn't been a problem. He's been behaved on the few walks he's been taken on. We love him and pray just the right person will fall in love with this special boy, too. Thank you!

Xena and Roscoe are 4-5 month old pups needing a home.
Xena is the girl with the black face, while Roscoe is the boy with the white face. Xena is more protective while Roscoe is more laid back.
Both have hearts on their faces. Xena's is on top of her head; Roscoe's on the end of his nose.
Roscoe is super chill (once he has some exercise lol)

UPDATE: BELLA HAS BEEN ADOPTED

Marley and Bella are two young pups who were abandoned. They need a place to stay ASAP. The apartment where they are staying doesn't allow dogs. Here is what their rescuer had to say about them.

"The black one is Marley; he is the boy (I believe they're brother and sister and would hope they can stay together).
He is Very Energetic and playful. I take him to the dog park here and he LOVES other dogs, especially his little sister. He is black except the little white "Batman" shape on his chest. He does well with house training if he is taken outside frequently and he LOVES walks. From my understanding both dogs have had shots.

"Bella is the white one with a black head and several "oreo" spots along her back. She is believes she is the princess and her only duty is to keep her rowdy brother behaved. She also loves other dogs and walks. She does well with house training too if she gets taken outside frequently. Bella is a cuddler, she will want to sleep with her owner or kids."

"Scarlett is a beautiful 1 year old kitty that showed up at our apartment complex. She was skittish at first but from the minute I was able to put a hand on her, all she wanted was love and cuddles. She’s very playful. If you start petting around her belly area, she will roll on her back for you to rub it.
She also loves being held and cradled and loves cuddling up on the couch and bed with you! Scarlett might be best as an only kitty. (We only saw her with another cat once. Although she would hiss at him, she was never aggressive.)"

Allie is a year and a half old (birthday 12/4/2017) German Shepherd/Hound mix. She weighs 65 pounds and she is spayed. She is very outgoing and LOVES being outdoors. She loves playing with other dogs, going to the dog park, swimming in lakes, and she does well with cats and children. She does not bark a lot and loves people! She is an incredible dog all the way around. She is up to date on all vaccines and currently has enough heart worm preventive to last through November. She is a great dog that is crate trained and potty trained.

The only reason Allie's family is not keeping her is that they financially can't.
