Behind the scenes under the glow of my night lamp and during early morning hours, I've been working on a life changing kind of project. Finally I'm getting close to be able to share it with all of you, but first I need a couple of months to finish things up. So just because you won't see me much here on social media for a bit, don't think I have forgotten about you. I'm just preparing to take you on a new adventure 😊

Nope, I have not forgotten about Facebook, just spent the last few weeks traveling back and forth ✈️ to Sweden 🇸🇪to see family and pick up/drop off these two 💕 If you asked them what they liked best about California they would say Disneyland (yup, all 15 hrs of the visit) 🎉and the big waves at the beach 🌊 Also, they would probably mention something about bottomless fries at Red Robin 😋 and hopefully how fun it was to be with auntie too 😉 Miss you kids! 💕

Cancer patients at the hospital and passengers at the airport afraid of flying...this boy brings calm and joy to all kinds of humans. Seeing her standing there in a ocean of grass, I was struck by how she seemed so small in this big world. She looked at her human as if to ask for protection. Her human mama, her world. Better than any exciting parks or squeaky toys. Unconditional love.

Even though it was a few years ago now, the memory of photographing this cutie is crystal clear because 1. it was then I realized just how wild dogs can be in front of the camera 2. but it's still possible to get "that" photo and 3. I fell in love with head tilts :)

It's been one of those weeks when you fight against the clock from the moment you open your eyes in the morning until it's time to put your head on the pillow again. Today the word schedule is thrown out the window and my furry girls and I started it with a morning treat. It's such a nice feeling to let them stop and sniff as much as they want and just enjoy being out in the warm spring sun. Maybe we'll go to the beach later. Maybe we just stay on the couch all day. All I know is that there is no schedule and we will just embrace this day 😊 I hope you will enjoy your Sunday too!

Yesterday we announced the winners of the dog model call for the grooming display at Kriser's and here's a video if you want to see who they are :) We were pulling our hair when going through all the applications, trying to select only two dogs was not an easy task. Don't all our dogs deserve that magazine star style photo? We are convinced they do and that's why we have put together a dog star event to not leave any furry friend behind.

She had written a letter to her friends and loved ones to be shared when she was no longer there. My friend back in Sweden who I hadn’t seen in a few years. I didn’t even know she was sick. With tears running down my cheeks I’ve read her words over and over again today and some of them I want to share with you, because I feel so many of us need to be reminded and I know she would have agreed.

“…sometimes life is shorter than you expected…but I feel like I’ve lived mine to the fullest and embraced the dreams I’ve had. I’ve done the things I wanted and focused on my inner desires.”

"at last I just wanted to tell all of you how much I love life and all the wonderful meetings I’ve had with all of you and to thank you for the time we have shared together.”

You never know how much time you have left and you never know when will be the last time you see someone. Make it count!

You left this earth way too young my shining friend and you’ll always have a special place in my heart
