To celebrate the 1st year of our dog adventure field being open, we are running a competition to give away a free session in our field!

Our much loved and treasured Barclay went off on his next adventure today to be back with his owner and enjoy semi- retirement at the ripe age of 25! He’s been a complete asset to Roxloe and we’ve loved every minute of him, from his cheekiness and greediness to his pure love of jumping.
Im sure there are plenty of people who have enjoyed being a part of Barclay’s life at Roxloe and have many stories to tell. We wish him and his owner Hollie more happy memories together and a big thank you for letting us have Barclay as part of the Roxloe family 💕🐴

⚫️ ANNOUNCEMENT ⚫️

It is with deep regret that we need to announce we will not be reopening our riding school. This is a decision we have not taken lightly, it is due to a number of different reasons, not only limited to the covid-19 pandemic.

In this lock down period, it has given us chance to re-evaluate our financial situation and future plans.
We want to say a huge thank you to all our loyal and hardcore clients who turned up regardless of the weather, (and we’ve had some shocking weather!) determined to get the most out of their lesson and finished it with a smile on their face!

We’ve had some absolutely super School Holiday Pony days over our time, making learning all the difficult parts of owning a pony much more fun! We will be forever grateful to our wonderful clients. We wish you every bit of luck in your continued riding journey. Thank you for letting us be a part of it.

Following on from tonights Government advice, the riding school at Roxloe along with the hire of the arena is closed with immediate effect for the foreseeable time being. We sincerely appreciate all our loyal customers and hopefully we will all get through this and will welcome you all back once this is over

EDIT****. In leui of the recent headlines, I will be contacting the BHS and our insurance company tomorrow for advise.

For the time being we are trying to carry on business as usual. We are following Governmental advice and will update any changes when we know. The summer holidays are finally here and we have you sorted for fun days for the kids!

Our Summer Holiday Stable days are happening on 8th August, 12th August and also 23rd August - a fun filled day of pampering ponies, playing games and having fun all whilst learning the responsibilities of looking after horses and ponies 🦄

Well our fully booked Easter Holiday Stable Day was a massive success again, jam packed with fun all day long! 🐣🐴

🌟 The day started at 10am with everyone arriving to meet their horses and ponies for the day
🌟 Stable duties started after this with everyone learning to fill their horses haynets for the night
🌟 Next we spent time grooming, plaiting and pampering the horses which even included painting their hooves with glitter 💅🏼
🌟 Learning to tack your horse was up next with everyone learning parts of their bridle and saddles. We had a fab lesson in the arena everyone doing their best riding!
🌟 Lunch for horses and us after this where we enjoyed the sunshine! 🌞
🌟 Pony games was a big hit, playing the Bran tub race and horse bending race! Horses were rewarded with going back into summer grass.
🌟 Next up was a bit of mucking out followed by The Horse General Knowledge Quiz
🌟 Finally the best part, The Easter Egg Hunt! Lots of hints and riddles had to be solved to track down the Easter eggs
🌟 Then finally our games to finish the day off, Limbo under the showjumps!
