Meet Angel. Angel is available for adoption. She is 1.5 yrs old and 19 lbs. She is crate trained and walks well on a leash. She has been through some extensive obedience training and we are hoping to find a adopter who will continue to work with her and keep her mind stimulated. A meet and great with her and our trainer would be necessary before adoption. We need to make sure everyone is a good fit. The trainer is located in Central Florida ( between Ocala and Tampa). She loves to play ball and is full of energy. She would be good in a home with a male dog, no females as she is dominant. She has never been around children. Has been around cats . Meet Roxann. She is available for adoption. She is a beautiful red girl that is 2yrs old. She weighs about 15 lbs. Roxanne does have a bit of separation anxiety where she barks if left for a long period of time. She is crate trained, walks very well on a leash and is house broken. She has very specific needs . Please read the following ( refrain from negativity or I will delete your post) She needs to be in a home where there are no young children, she does not do well with small animals of any kind including cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, reptiles ect. She has a very high prey drive. She needs a quite home, she may be good with an older laid back dog but not a young dog full of energy, a meet and greet would be needed to see if that would work and she would need to be properly introduced over time. It would be best if she was in a home where the adopter works from home or is retired and someone is around most of the time. Roxann loves to snuggle and is a very sweet girl. At this time we are pausing taking any new adoption applications for general dogs. We have a few dogs in rescue at this time that have particular needs. We will be taking applications for those dogs until they are adopted. If you have already applied we are working on your applications and if you are approved we are keeping your applications active . Our intake is currently closed while we work on revamping our processes. We are short on volunteers and cannot do everything successfully with just a few people. We are hoping to be back up and running in the very near future. I will be posting our available dogs on here over the next few days. Again these dogs need specific situations so please do not apply if you do not meet the criteria.

8/19/25 UPDATE:
Sophie Sue did well with her surgery!!
According to her Foster Mom, “Sophie is the most amazing and resilient dog ever. She had a rough night but this morning she is so much better. She’s walking good. Eating and drinking. She’s going potty with no problem. She’s even wagging her tail today.” Thank you for everyone’s prayers!

The total cost of surgery was $3,247.68. While we have received generous donations of $950.00 so far, that still leaves us short $2,297.68. Any donations, large or small, are greatly appreciated so that we can continue to help Bostons in need,

Original post: Sweet Sophie Sue was surrendered to our rescue when her owner’s health prevented her from caring for her. Recently, Sophie has developed lumps in her chest and in her left armpit. The one in her armpit has gotten quite large and is now pushing her left leg out. Some days are painful for her and she has a hard time walking. To give her relief, her vet is recommending surgery and is enlisting the help of an outside board-certified surgeon due to the location of the armpit mass and to best monitor her while under anesthesia. If all is going well, they will also do some dental cleaning, with possible tooth extractions. The estimate for the surgery is between $2,535.31 and $3,801.20.

Even with her health concerns, her Foster Mom says nothing stops Sophie from shaking her stuffed hedgehog or being her Velcro dog. She is the sweetest girl who sticks close to her at all times. Sophie moves a little slower these days but she loves the sunshine and roaming around the back yard in the morning. She is a very special girl.

UPDATE: Foster found!

We have a dog in a rural shelter in North Florida. This is a 2-3 yr old unneutered male. He is going to need full medical ( vaccines, hw test, neuter, ect). He is good with other dogs and very sweet with people. If you are already one of your fosters please pm me or text me. Kelly.

Please be sure you understand that fostering is not trying out a dog to see if you want to adopt it , it is helping a dog get to its forever home by letting us know what you learn about the foster dogs behavior, taking him/her to the vet to get medically cleared and helping us find the right forever home for the dog. Another thing to take into consideration when applying to foster is we may not always know everything about a dog. For instance dogs that comes from a shelter. We really dont know if it gets along with cats or has been around kids. We dont know if they are housebroken or crated trained or if they can walk on a leash. Many of the dogs we bring in have had a tramatic past and there are alot of unknowns. We dont have perfect dogs and this is where we need commited fosters who understand this.
