I can’t believe my little peanut is 7 already. It feels like just yesterday when she was running around with all of her foal friends 🥹💕

Officially a show pony🌟
Video screenshot because Charlotte jumped her first green box today!!! 🥳🎉 Can’t officially call her a pony anymore because she sticks right at 15hh. (She’ll always be my pony though, let’s be honest)
The cutest little peanut that ever lived sporting her birthday outfit that showed up a week later than it was supposed to😅🌹
What a wonderful Derby Birthday for Miss Charlotte yesterday!!🌹🏇 Big thank you to everyone that helped us celebrate!🥳
Charlotte “worked” her first cow today!😂 Thanks Kathy Lietz Marshall for Wilfred🐮 We love him!!🧡
Charlotte told the animal communicator that she was jealous that her older brothers are more spoiled than her. Of course, I couldn’t let her think that for much longer. Spoiled her to a few early Christmas presents. She’s not too sure how she feels about the bell boots though😂💖
She’s the CUTEST!! Finally put a western saddle on my cow pony🐮💕 She wasn’t even fussy about it. I was expecting her to be a little worried about the different weight and fit of the western saddle, but she didn’t even seem to notice😆 This saddle is comfy for me, but it doesn’t fit Charlotte quite right, so we’ll be exchanging it. For now, it’s back to our English saddle. Super grateful to have such a wonderful all-around horse🥺❤️
Thank you Auntie Angelica for letting Charlotte play with Tucky’s jolly ball🥺❤️
Just some cute Charlotte content to brighten up your day🌈✨
Trottin’ along doing her thing🦄✨
Not a great video, but Charlotte got a spa day today! Hot clothed with SmartGrooming’s SuperShine using the techniques I picked up from their social media and it’s been my favorite thing to do. Takes ten minutes, can do it in any weather (perfect for winter), works on any coat length, and doesn’t leave a residue! So satisfying! I also brushed her mane and tail while I was at it💖💖
Cutie💕
Charlotte Update! She’s been in light work this winter with lots of turn out time with her big brother, Banjo. I’m getting ready to clip her up and “spring clean” her over the next couple of weeks! Hopefully starting over fences again soon with the warmer weather and maybe a local show or two this summer🤞🏼
Forgot to post this cute video of Charlotte in our lesson last week! She’s a special pony💖
Please excuse my equitation (or the lack there of in this case) but Charlotte conquered her first gate today! It took a few tries but she finally got the hang of it! God bless this baby horse and all that she puts up with💕
Thank you Karin for the videos!!!🙌🏼
And just like that, my baby horse is doing big girl things🥺💕
Charlotte blinked and I look like a dork, but our matchy-match game is strong!😂💪🏼 Charlotte has been absolutely FABULOUS the last few days! She even led a mini “trail ride” up and down the drive way with confidence! So proud of this little peanut and the progress she makes every day💖 Thank you for the picture Karin!!
Four peppermints for Charlotte’s 4th Birthday!!🥳 I can’t believe this cute lil button is already 4! Time flies when you’re having fun🤗
Charlotte’s quarantine checklist:
Eat Breakfast✅
Take Nap✅
Charlotte and I experimented with long-reining on Tuesday! I’ll be honest, I almost got kicked in the face the first time I asked her to trot (luckily I was able to read her body language and backed way out of the way before her foot left the ground). Other than that, she picked up on it super quick and we had no other issues! By the end of our little session, we were trotting around the whole arena, changing directions, making circles, walking over poles, halting and backing! She has such a good brain🙏🏼❤️
I think this is only the second time I’ve ever seen her roll and I would just like to say, she is absolutely adorable. I love that she and Banjo get along so well❤️
I haven’t worked this horse in 2 months and decided to get on her ba****ck for the very first time yesterday...she was great, of course!!❤️
She doesn’t look like a baby horse anymore!😭😍
I just realized I never posted these pictures I took with Charlotte in May!! Better late than never!😅❤️
Hoping to take this little one on trail rides by the end of the summer!💕
Three years ago today, this beautiful bay filly was born! I am so blessed to have this talented girl in my life!! Our two and a half years together has flown by. It has been an amazing journey watching her learn and grow each day. I am so beyond proud to call her mine! Thank you Brad Emerson and the AQHYA for making our partnership possible❤️ Cheers to many more years of friendship, adventures, and learning with Charlotte! Happy Birthday🥳
Sorry about the hiatus! We just got back from Florida this week. Charlotte sure grew up a TON during our few months in Ocala! So many firsts: riding outside, meeting sheep, cantering under saddle, loading onto a semi, riding around jumps... I couldn’t be more impressed with how hard she tries each and every time we ride. I am a very lucky girl!!❤️
Holy Guacamole!!🥑
Look how big my little girl is getting!? I haven’t seen her out of her stall in 2-3 weeks because I kept going and giving her apples late at night after work, but haven’t been able to work her until today. I could barely tell which little, fuzzy, brown mare was mine in the pasture😂💕 I rode her for the first time in 3-4 weeks and she was PERFECT! Today was the longest I’ve ever ridden her and we did lots of work. She was all business today! Surprisingly, no friskies or baby stunts, even with this weather!🥶
