It takes a village and rescue community to save lives. This is the Asher House.

Amazing Grace has survived and healed after being neglected for a year. Gracie is 1 yr old 8 lbs Shih Tzu mix that was starved and never received medical care. Her eyes had ruptured and had to be removed. Gracie weighted 4.5 lbs. Gracie was rescued by Beverly Mays of Amazing Small Animal Practice. Gracie was fostered by Jasmin Gabay Kimball of Saving K9 Lives Plus Inc. Gracie was supplied with Muffin's Halo For Blind Dogs by Silvie Bordeaux/ SecondChancesforBlindDogs.org. Obol EileenandBrad helped Gracie with supplies during her healing and a special carrier for her flight from Operation Blankets of Love.
Amazing Grace healed, got spayed and vaccinated. Gracie was up for adoption. Little sweet Gracie is getting adopted to founder of Chappieandfriends.org, Robert Bills. Gracie is preparing for her flight with DART: Delta Animal Rescue Transport coordinate by Corinne Rockney.
Amazing Grace is learning to trust life without eyes. It really took a village to help a suffering puppy get a second chance in life.
Thank you for the network who loved Amazing Grace. Thank you to Renee Fiorillo-Kelley for cheering for Gracie!!

Sweet Amazing Grace is healing and learning to live with out eyes. Gracie, 1 yr old 4.5 lbs Shi Tzu Yorkie mix, was neglected all her short life. She was crated, starved and no medical care. Sweet Gracie was surrendered and needed her eyes removed as both eyes ruptured. Gracie had not eaten in two days. When her foster mom picked her up, Gracie was coming out of anesthesia. She gave a weak growl as she was afraid.
Amazing Grace is doing well in her foster home. She is eating 3 times a day. She has gotten 2 medical baths. Gracie loves squeaky toys. Gracie loves to sleep in bed with her foster mom and their pack. Gracie received her Muffin's Halo For Blind Dogs.

Amazing Grace is enjoying life and eating a lot of meals. Grace, 1 yr old Shi Tzu Yorkie mix, had been neglected and starved almost her whole life. She was a beautiful puppy that lived in a crate, not knowing when her next meal is coming. She was never groomed and we are guessing that she was not loved either. Sweet Gracie had her eyes removed because of neglect causing her eyes to rupture.
We are slowly removing her matted hair as not to traumatize her. Gracie is enjoying her new life with her foster mom and getting 3-4 meals a day.

Meet Elva, 4 yr old 4 lbs Maltese Westie mix, rescued from South Los Angeles Shelter. She was lactating with vaginal discharge. The shelter spayed her ( commending that she had puppies). Elva was publicly adopted and returned after 6 days. This 4 lbs dog was returned for people aggression!
Saving K9 Lives Plus picked her up. She was shaking and scared. No aggression. Once Elva was settled in her foster home, the shaking stopped. Elva is a barker. We think she was hit for barking and she was defensive. Elva loves her bed. She pulls it, humps it and barks at it.
Elva is on antibiotics for kennel cough. She will be scheduled for a dental cleaning and up for adoption.
