I BECAME GODOT'S MOM ONE YEAR AGO!
[TW: MENTAL ILLNESS]
So... This year hasn't been easy at all. As many of you know, I have been suffering from depression and anxiety since I was 15 y/o. Now I'm about to turn 21. Obviously I've improved greatly, therapy helped a lot throughout those years. I even thought I recovered completely but... Well, a lot happened during this last year.
I finished high school and had to move to another city in order to study Medicine. I lost many people, in many, horrible, different ways. I had to face failure, rejection, even sexual assault. Depression kicked in again.
Why am I telling you this? Well, because Godot helped me a lot and he's still helping. Even though we've been apart due to the fact I had to move, without being able to bring him with me, every time I get home he greets me chirping, singing. He calms me down when I start panicking. So thank you little birb, thanks for allowing me to be your human 💕
