How cool is this y'all? This young man and his family have been involved with Classy Cats over the years in the form of volunteers, fosters and of course adopters! He took his entrepreneurial spirit and his love of cats and giving, rolled them together and held a bake sale to donate to our rescue cans of wet cat food! (it's very important for their kidneys that all cats get wet food in their diets) We are always so grateful for the people that come into our lives and continue to bless us!

This nice lady has been in need of a pet to love on, and who better than Logan! He’s an older cat, who may want to play from time to time, but mostly wants to nap and be snuggled with. This handsome blue-eyed boy will love the attention showered upon him!

Sweet Katarina from our North Texas Giving Day named litter has been adopted! She’s going to have so much love from this family, not to mention a buddy in their cat friendly dog!

Mr. Toby Keith is headed to his new life! This nice couple have two cats at home, a younger one that is very playful and an older one that’s not so much. Toby Keith will fill the bill when the older cat isn’t interested in playing. Everyone wins!

Regal looking Blondie is on her way to her new home! They have an older cat already at home, which is great because Blondie would rather cuddle than play, and their son is especially looking forward to having his very own sweet kitty!!

We love follow ups to our follow ups! This cute calico Fifi (formerly Felicity) was adopted as an adult, having had three babies when she came to us, and her human mom has sent us an update for Follow Up Friday! She says, "It’s been a year since I have adopted Fifi (Felicity). She is the perfect cat and I am so blessed to have adopted her when I did! She is loved and spoiled by me and her grandma. This is her forever home ❤️"

The Alliance Petsmart has some of our cutest cats for you to stop by and admire, starting with Logan! He's a little older, but a very handsome boy that likes attention for sure. He's chatty too, with a very distinctive meow! He's looking for a family to love on him in his golden years. Siblings Nash, Nora and Nicole are some of the most playful in the kitten room and they're already bonded if you want a quicker adjustment period, although they get along with everyone in the kitten room so they'd be ok going to a home with an existing cat too! Grey tabby Ryan has the sweetest little face, it's absolutely smooshable and kissable. He's very playful, which is good because he's sharing a room with Giselle, a tuxedo with loads of energy. She's big on playing, says no to bad moods and gives two paws up for toys of allll kinds! They're both fun kittens that would add love and excitement to any house.

The Roanoke Petsmart is where it's at if you want to see sweet little Shimmy, our little wobbly kitty! She's got the sweetest little face, and while she might be a little slower than her counterparts in the kitten room, she goes everywhere they do. We sometimes wonder how she does it! Also there is C.C. the wildest kitty in the west! But she's super friendly too, so it's all good! She's very purry and loooovves to play!

Remember the little babies we all got to name this past North Texas Giving Day? The boys aren’t quite ready, but Katarina is having her spa day tomorrow! Which means she’ll be ready for her new family in a week or two after that. We thought we’d bring her on this Whisker Wednesday to show the potential of magnificence in her whiskers! Plus, she’s just so stinking CUTE!

Carlisle and Tobias are going home!! This amazing family found them and their mama, and eventually surrendered them to Classy Cats so they could find their forever homes. Never having pets before they had no idea how much they’d fall in love with and miss them, so the entire family voted to come back and adopt the boys so they could stay together forever!

We had tried homing June Bug in a couple different scenarios, but she made it pretty clear she wanted to be the only cat in the house. Luckily this nice young lady came in, wanting just one cat, so June Bug was only too happy to go home with her!! June Bug likes people, just not so much other felines, so this should be a fantastic family for her!

Some cats stay with us for a while, while other cats get adopted before we can even put them on the website. Doug Morris is one of those cats, and it’s understandable why he got adopted so fast. Beautiful coloring, soft fur and a fantastic personality. This college age young lady volunteered for us in high school and came back to get Doug as a friend to their existing cat. Doug sold himself immediately!

In another edition of “You don’t pick a cat, the cat picks you” Dory has successfully picked her new dad, and he’s as enamored with her as she is him! She joins the whole family including a previous Classy Cat named Libra, and a cat friendly dog!

Anyone that's had ginger boys knows they're simply the best, so if you're looking for a pair of ginger cats, pre-bonded for a quicker adjustment period, we got you! At the Roanoke Petsmart you can find brothers Carlisle and Tobias. They came in with their momma, and now are ready for their own homes! Carlisle is the more outgoing one, while Tobias is a little more shy. Tobias would really benefit with another cat in the household to help him be his best self, but both boys are curious and playful! Whether it be feather wands, or windowsills, they both enjoy playing, napping and lots of pets!

Don't worry about cleaning out your garage or any other boring chores you have this weekend, instead stop by the Alliance Petsmart and come see our cutie kitties up for adoption! Starting with Ryland, who is the sweetest boy ever. He was somehow overlooked as a kitten, so he aged up into the adult room, but we just can't figure out why he doesn't have a home yet. He's sweet, affectionate, playful and gets along with everyone, cat and human! Kittens Miklo and Ranger are there too, both good boys. Ranger is a little on the shy side, so he will need someone that is cool with that, but they're both really pretty and very loving. Sisters Starla and Talia are perfect for anyone looking for bonded cats! They've been in a foster home so they're used to being in a home setting with people! Super sweet and very playful!

Follow Up Friday is so fun today! Watkin's new human had this to say: "It took him a few hours to get acclimated to his new surroundings. Initially, that was the master suite of my house. I eventually broke out a squeeze-up treat and gave it to him. Suddenly, I was his “bestest” friend in the world, and I think at this point, he realized all would be good in these strange new surroundings. He would run and play with his spring, determined to tame the unruly thing. After several minutes of play, he would return to let me know how much he loved his new digs with head butts and kisses and then was off to tame the spring. I already have a Russian Blue named Romeo. Therefore, Watkins became Cassanova.

During this time, Romeo was well aware that another cat was in HIS bedroom. He was patiently waiting for the door to open, hoping to capture a glimpse of the newest member of the family. I had rubbed Casanova (Cass) with a clean sock to transfer his sent. When I showed it to Romeo, he looked at me as if to say, “I know there is another cat in there. When do I get to meet him?” I was scheduled to go out of town for work on the Monday after Cass was adopted. I decided they needed to, at least, check each other out. That Sunday, Cass slept in my arms while Romeo gave me the look of someone who had betrayed him. (Bear in mind that Romeo was receiving lots of individual attention during this time.)

During the week I was out of town, the barriers between Cass and Romeo were removed. According to my housemate, they had a few blowups, nothing serious, and Romeo chose to forgo the traditional 437 hisses at Cass before accepting him.

In short, Cass has acclimated to his new surroundings very quickly, and Romeo is happy to have a buddy to play with. Personally, I’m thrilled for Romeo to finally have a partner in crime/playmate. Romeo has been an adult cat for so long that I forgot how unruly a kitten can be, not to mention the ravenous appetite and lack of etiquette. I hope this little story lets you know that Watkins/Cassanova has wormed himself into our hearts." We love that they match! It will be hard to tell them apart in no time!
