Many rescues allow foster to adopt on RESCUE PULL ONLY cats but need an approved application and we have to follow state guidelines that are enforced by the Kansas Board of Agriculture. This includes applicants animals being up to date on vaccinations and altered.

**Fosters/Adopters reach out to a rescue you are affiliated with ASAP or send us an application to a rescue and contact them to see if they will allow these guidelines. We can also put you in touch with many rescues who will assist and help with foster to adopts.

We have list of many rescues who would be willing to assist or are needing fosters to assist. If you are not in the Wichita vicinity we will put you in touch with the closest rescue who will assist at this shelter.

***these cats are not in our care and currently in the possession of the Wichita Animal Shelter. We are a group of rescue volunteers trying to network and expose these lives at risk to help get them to safety.

Direct adopters who are local that live in close proximity of Wichita, KS need to go to the Kansas Humane Society which is next door to the shelter in person.

**OUT OF TOWN-
If you live out of town or state please do not drive to place.

***It’s a $50 hold fee for a direct adopter and that covers the fees to get the cat out and safe. The fee also includes some basic vetting for the kitty including neutered/spay, microchip, dewormer, basic immunizations, a feline leukemia test, and flea/tick medicine.***

Urgent Cats at Gwinnett County Animal Control

They be needed help!!!!!

Lori mommy and family still waiting for rescue. Heartbreaking to see them reach for the officer in the picture ... begging, pleading. Not knowing that it is more than likely the color of their fur for reason still there .
They have sponsorship for each, are still healthy . So what’s it gonna be or who is going to be the hero and save them ????
