Look who stopped by to let us know how he’s doing — it’s Marshmallow!

This adorable little guy was adopted from us a year ago and is now living his best life. He loves hanging out with his canine sibling, lounging in the sun, and going on road trips. Marshmallow is looking forward to summer vacation with his family and sends his love to the fosters, donors, and others supporters who made his rescue possible!

It's me, hi! I'm little Mosely, it's me!

In case you can't tell, I'm a bit of a Swiftie! And like so many Swifties, I'm a little gal with a HUGE personality, and I am ready to be your new bestie.

What's my story, you ask? Well, I was all by myself when I could sense a big storm was brewing. I knew I wouldn't be safe under the shed where I was living, so I decided to strut up to a nice lady and ask for help. One thing led to another and yada, yada, yada...here I am!

At around 8 weeks old, I am the perfect combination of beauty and braun. I mean, have you seen my fabulous hair? It's so soft and fluffy! I also have a lot of energy, so I love playing with my toys, my foster family, and my giant feline foster siblings (they are 8X my weight, but I can take them!). I was hoping to stay here but I think my insanely fun antics are a bit too much for them, so now I'm looking for my furever home. Could that be with you?

I have started my vaccines, am FIV/FeLV-, and will be spayed and microchipped soon...but there is no time like the present for me to work my way into your heart and home. Please contact Wags Fund if you'd like to meet me!

Good day, I’m Dulce!

I love, love, love everyone I meet: all sizes and all ages. I even like my foster mom’s cats…although, they may not feel the same, but I could adapt to any household. My foster mom says that I have the very sweetest personality (hence my name) andI love to be around my people.

I am a rather athletic dog and relatively food motivated, and have a strong will to please…which means that I will be a snap to train. If you’re looking for a dog who might be a good agility competitor or tricks dog, you’ve found me. I do need some basic obedience training. I’ve got sit and down commands under my belt, but I could use some more reinforcement. If you adopt me and you live in Houston, there are several dog training companies that will give WAGS Fund adopted dogs rescue rates for training classes.

My perfect day would be to go for walks or play in a yard a couple of times a day, spend a good amount of time cuddling, and some couch potato time watching Netflix. My foster mom says that I am a little bit of a clown, so if you want a dog who’ll make you laugh…pick me! I’m about 1 yr old and weigh 45 lbs….just the perfect size. I am fully vaccinated and spayed.

Meet Buttercup and Tiger Lily!

Last week at this time, these two were living on the streets. Today they are warm and cozy, with full bellies, and getting lots of attention from their foster family!

At just 8 weeks old, Buttercup is a petite little calico with the heart of a lion. She's a bit on the bossy side, as many calicos can be. Tiger Lily is less timid and more curious, and quite a fluffball. Both will need a gentle hand to help them acclimate to the human world, but they are making great strides. They have already received their first round of vaccines and are available for adoption, either together or separately.

Are you kitten me???

Last week, volunteers went on a TNR (trap, neuter, release) mission to keep a feral cat colony from multiplying. In addition to 7 adult females and 1 adult male, they were able to trap 2 kittens and get them to safety. The next day, we were contacted about another litter of 3…so we suddenly had 5 young kittens needing our help!

Even with low cost vet clinics, the bills add up quickly. Each TNR is $75, and every kitten we intake requires at least $350 in care. Can you spare $5, $10, or more to help us help them?

Do you love chips and queso? If so, you'll probably love me, too...because my name is Taco! My human foster sister is nicknamed Burrito, and she named me Taco because I'm her perfect little sidekick.

I had a home at one point, but found myself on the streets just before Christmas. My foster mom took me in and I was able to spend the holidays with her family, but now I am ready for my furever home. I'm a simple chap who doesn't need much — I really just want to be wherever you are. I do enjoy doing zoomies and chasing my canine foster sister around the yard, going for walks at the park and the beach, and playing with fun squeaky toys. I also love to nap and even sleep through the night in my crate. My foster mom says I'm one of the best fosters she's had in a long time!

I'm a spry little guy at just 4 years old and 13 lbs. I'm vaccinated, neutered, HW-, microchipped, good with kids and dogs, and overall one chill dude. Want to meet me? Please email [email protected] and ask for Taco!

Everyone loves a long-haired Tortie!

HELLO! I know it’s hard not to to be captivated by my mesmerizing eyes and gorgeous hair, but let’s focus for a minute so I can introduce myself. I’m Tali, and I am the most amazing kitten you will ever meet!

I’m pretty sure I was meant to be a star. No, really, it’s true! Being born homeless didn’t stop me from testing the waters of a potential modeling career…but during my runway debut, I took a bit of a spill and severely broke my leg. It was embarrassing but didn’t stop me from strutting over to a sweet cat lady for help. She phoned a friend and yada, yada, yada, here I am!

Fast forward to today, when I’m about 6 months old, only have 3 legs and run my foster home. I live with a buff pittie mix, a giant Cane Corso, and another darling dog. While I’m the smallest, I have the biggest personality, am super confident, and my fans can’t stop talking about me!

Why we do what we do…

Last December we received a message about a dog who had been tied to a pole and abandoned for at least 2 days. The dog was scared, smelled awful, and was labeled as “aggressive” by a man who lived in the apartments nearby. We sat down and waited for him to be less weary of us…but never expected that just 15 minutes later, he would bury his head in our volunteer's arm and sit in her lap. After that, they were besties 👩🏻🥰🐶

We named this big, goofy golden doodle Buddy because he was so full of unbridled joy and energy, much like Buddy the Elf! After a good bath, full groom, vet visits, and plenty of training, he was in much better shape than when we found him. He went to a fantastic foster home that eventually decided to adopt him, so this year Buddy is living his best life and spending Christmas with his forever family ❤️

Happy tails — we are so happy to share that Brian has found his forever home, just in time for the holidays! We have no doubt this active family is the perfect fit for Brian and know he will be so very loved by them ❤️

We also want to give a big shout out to Linda, who had never fostered before. She did a great job of keeping him safe, taking him to vet appointments, and showing him love while he was in her care. Thank you so much, Linda!

Are you looking for a sweet dog who already knows his manners, is housetrained, and walks well on a leash?

Then look no further than our very young-at-heart senior Otto — he’s just 8 lbs of perfection! No puppy mischief or unexpected growth spurts with this cutie! He's completely vaccinated, neutered, and healthy. Our best guess is that he may be around 8-9 yrs old. He did have teeth that had to he removed, but eats canned food like a champ!

He's the ideal companion for someone wanting a quiet, easy to handle, affectionate pet. Want to meet him? Please contact [email protected]
