I may tease this sweet boy about being a toad and getting too determined to make his own choices but he has come so far.
The belly rub video- it took almost a year for him to roll over and not jump up if I was even close much less let me give him a little belly scratch.
The videos playing with toys- over 8 months for him to start really playing and now he can play with control, well more control. He will sit for a toy rather than jumping, even if his body is shaking with excitement.
All this to say, not only adopt don’t shop, but give these sweet souls time, space to not only decompress but begin to trust this new life is real, safe and fun.

Reggie here! Merry Christmas 🎄everyone! My foster mom said I did a pawtastic job with the party 🎉. It was a lot of people and noise especially when they were playing with wrapping paper, I really tried to help by taking it all and shredding it 🤣🎁 I am really glad it’s all over though so she can quit “working “ and get back to cuddles allllll day 💛🌼🐾 #adoptdontshop #rescuedog #christmastime
