Just practicing our “on your bed” while getting out climbing. We are easing Piton our younger dog into getting used to both of us being off the ground while climbing. She did great this last trip, Imogene is a helpful assistant 😁

Snow days are for nosework games & cute pictures! Imogene is definitely better at this game than Piton, but I make sure I throw plenty of treats so everyone gets some 🤗

Little Hela is working on her, “on your bed”. We have a bed placed to keep our dogs out of the kitchen or underfoot. After tripping on one of my older dogs in the kitchen years ago, this has become one of our house rules. It keeps everyone safe and gives the dogs a cookie opportunity by offering their bed behavior 😊

Training Tip Tuesday! As dogs mature, they can become “dog selective” which means that they may not like or want to play with every single dog that they meet. As humans, we also develop preferences over time and that’s totally ok. Your dog doesn’t have to love every single dog that he/she meets. Love the dog in front of you. #

These 2 siblings were adopted by 2 different families from Ridgeway & Telluride. They were rescued from a puppy mill in Missouri. Turned out both families started training with us, so naturally we had to have a reunion! It was great watching them get to play 💜💜💜
