Friends of Hanover Dog Parks We're actively building and improving dog parks in Hanover County, VA. Check out off-leash dog parks at Taylor Park and Pole Green Park.

The purpose of the Friends is to promote the health and welfare of companion animals and their owners through education and recreation. The Friends strive to work in close cooperation with Hanover County to plan, promote, establish, operate, maintain, regulate and otherwise work to create and support public off-leash dog parks in Hanover County; and to view the dog parks as community projects in p

artnership with Hanover County, local businesses, and area civic organizations that satisfy the needs of dog owners and non-dog owners alike.
