(DRAW) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization inspected and licensed by the State of Wisconsin ( #400312-DS) dedicated to the rescue, care and adoption of Doberman Pinschers in need. Our adoption process consists of an adoption application, vet & background checks and a home visit, followed by a meet/greet with the dog of interest. Our Adoption Fee is: $100 Special Needs and Mixes, $400 for dogs three to seven years and $500 for dogs up to two years old.

Besides being an amazing volunteer for us, Rescued Dog also founded our rescue back in 2011. She stepped down from the board in 2016 and has gone on to pursue ways to help rescues in need. Besides making pint glasses and other products, she just added candles to her list. In honor of three DRAWI alumi, one sassy red girl adopted two years ago and two that have crossed the rainbow bridge....you can now order them from her website, Rescued Dog. You can designate our rescue in the drop-down when you order, to receive donations or feel free to support another Dobie rescue. They smell so Ahhmazing!!!

We wanted to send a big shoutout to Wisconsin's Waiting Pets for sharing our Jade who has been in foster over two years now. Just a side note, Jade was not in good hands with men in her past life. We are very firm that she only be in a home with a female or females(women) and no other pets. We have had a lot of inquiries from men wanting to adopt her and while we wish we could entertain that, we want Jade to succeed. Thanks for understanding 😍

A success story to warm the heart even during the coldest of weather. Remember the beautiful girl rescued by Friends of Beaumont Animal Care in partnership with Doberman Rescue Alliance of Wisconsin,Inc? Well, the pictures speak volumes. This little nugget, now known as Kylie, is thriving. From a mange infested dog scheduled to be euthanized to a loving energic family member, she is a testament to what rescue means, what love can do, and what can be accomplished together!

Our Story

Hi There!

We are all volunteer based, we do not have a brick and mortar facility but rather volunteers and fosters throughout the state of Wisconsin.

Our adoption process consists of an adoption application, vet & background checks and a home visit, followed by a meet/greet with the dog of interest. Our Adoption Fee is: $100 Special Needs or a Doberman mix, $200 for Seniors 8 plus, $400 for three to seven years old and $500 up to two years of age. For an adoption application and questions pertaining to our dogs, please visit our website at www.drawi.org Please note that we will not place rescue dogs in homes with young children (under 8 years old) - Small children generally do not have the stress management skills, impulse control or the ability to think abstractly that adults possess. A small child can unintentionally hurt a dog and the consequences can result in injury to the child. If a rescue dog injuries a child it will most likely end the life of the dog. In addition, most rescue dogs have unknown histories so reaction to certain situations is undeterminable. THERE IS NO EXCEPTION TO THIS POLICY. Thanks for your understanding!
