(DRAW) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization inspected and licensed by the State of Wisconsin ( #400312-DS) dedicated to the rescue, care and adoption of Doberman Pinschers in need. Our adoption process consists of an adoption application, vet & background checks and a home visit, followed by a meet/greet with the dog of interest. Our Adoption Fee is: $100 Special Needs and Mixes, $400 for dogs three to seven years and $500 for dogs up to two years old.

An awesome update from DRAWI Alumni, (formally Paloma)Rubi's family ❤️❤️.
We wanted to send a quick update on Rubi (Paloma). It is almost one year since we adopted this beautiful girl. She is spoiled and in full control of her younger brother. She is a lover. She can be stubborn but we are beyond happy to have her in our life. She is the perfect compliment to little brother Jagger. Thanks again to all who gave her a second chance and allowing her to become part of our family. Rubi, pictured left with Jagger....

We were so very sad to hear the news about DRAWI Alumni, Miss Iris's passing on July 2, 2024. She was a wild child that her family took a chance on and gave her the very best life! She loved being in the Northwoods chasing critters. Run free sweet girl, we know how much you are missed!💔💔🌈🌈

Our Story

Hi There!

We are all volunteer based, we do not have a brick and mortar facility but rather volunteers and fosters throughout the state of Wisconsin.

Our adoption process consists of an adoption application, vet & background checks and a home visit, followed by a meet/greet with the dog of interest. Our Adoption Fee is: $100 Special Needs or a Doberman mix, $200 for Seniors 8 plus, $400 for three to seven years old and $500 up to two years of age. For an adoption application and questions pertaining to our dogs, please visit our website at www.drawi.org Please note that we will not place rescue dogs in homes with young children (under 8 years old) - Small children generally do not have the stress management skills, impulse control or the ability to think abstractly that adults possess. A small child can unintentionally hurt a dog and the consequences can result in injury to the child. If a rescue dog injuries a child it will most likely end the life of the dog. In addition, most rescue dogs have unknown histories so reaction to certain situations is undeterminable. THERE IS NO EXCEPTION TO THIS POLICY. Thanks for your understanding!
