GUARDIAN OPPORTUNITY!
Meet Willow Lane California Dreaming aka Mo, who we have been getting to know at Clairevale for the past week. Mo is a stunning red abstract fleece coated boy who will mature to medium size. He has learnt to use the doggy door, to sleep in a crate, has had lots of cuddles with visitors of all ages and plays well with our pack. We are now looking for a guardian family to cherish this gorgeous boy. We hope Mo will add his wonderful genetic diversity to our breeding program one day when he is all grown up and has passed his health testing.
We will consider applications from both families in the north east of Victoria and Melbourne. The right family will have someone home for at least some of the week and will be committed to continuing training. There is a guardian bond payable, which is a fraction of the cost of a pet puppy. Mo is ready to join his furever family now. Families who already have a Clairevale labradoodle are especially welcome to apply 🥰.

WL Lady Koko aka Indi x CV Red Baron aka Lenny litter DOB 13/11/24

Congratulations to Indi and Lenny on the arrival of six gorgeous chunky puppies yesterday afternoon 🥰. Indi is a star! Three girls (chocolate, gold and black) and three boys (two chocolate and one caramel cream) born with calm grace in just under three hours. As a midwife, I am privileged and in awe to witness such a birth. A huge thank you to our wonderful guardians Mandy, Helen and families for providing such loving homes to Indi and Lenny. CLAIREVALE LABRADOODLES GUARDIAN OPPORTUNITY!

We are very excited to announce that this super friendly and handsome red and white fleece medium boy will be joining us in a couple of weeks. "Mo" (pedigree name pending) comes to us courtesy of our exchange program with ALA accredited breeder Susan Stonehouse at Willow Lane Labradoodles. We are very appreciative to receive this boy whose sire is Country King of Charm aka Charley (imp USA) and dam is Moogi Sweet Reds Pippi Longstocking aka Rumi.

We are looking for a devoted guardian family for Mo. Guardians provide a forever home to our breeding prospect pups. These are outstanding puppies that will hopefully enter our Clairevale breeding program once they are fully grown and have successfully completed health and temperament screening . A guardian family enables us to add premium bloodlines and genetic diversity to our program while ensuring that our mamas and papas also can enjoy being much-loved family dogs. Conditions apply. Willow Lane Lady Koko x Clairevale Red Baron litter

It's confirmed - Indi and Lenny are expecting! Can’t wait to meet these little ones from two absolutely gorgeous parents. This will be Indi's second and Lenny's first litter. Puppies will be medium in size with fleece coats, and possible colours include red, caramel, chocolate and black. Abstract (white) markings likely. Puppies are due mid November, and ready for new homes mid January 2025.

Violet x Raphael litter DOB 27/07/24
Vienetta flew to Sydney, and Forrest winged his way to Cairns on Wednesday this week, both travelling like little troopers. Blossom has gone home too and is settling in well. Frankie will be joining his family shortly. It's going to be very quiet here soon!

Great advice re developing joints

This is something everyone should see. This xray is of a 2 week old puppy.

When you get your 8/10 week old puppies, please keep this image in mind. Their bones do not even touch yet. They plod around so cutely with big floppy paws and wobbly movement because their joints are entirely made up of muscle, tendons, ligaments with skin covering. Nothing is fitting tightly together or has a true socket yet.

When you run them excessively or don't restrict their exercise to stop them from overdoing it during this period you don't give them a chance to grow properly. Every big jump or excited bouncing run causes impacts between the bones. In reasonable amounts this is not problematic and is the normal wear and tear that every animal will engage in.

But when you're letting puppy jump up and down off the lounge or bed, take them for long walks/hikes, you are damaging that forming joint. When you let the puppy scramble on tile with no traction you are damaging the joint.

You only get the chance to grow them once. A well built body is something that comes from excellent breeding and a great upbringing-BOTH, not just one.

Once grown - around 12-18 months depending on their breed, you will have the rest of their life to spend playing and engaging in higher impact exercise. So keep it calm while they're still little baby puppies and give the gift that can only be given once.

UPDATE This beautiful girl has now found her furever home 🥰.

This sweet mini 4th generation Australian labradoodle (AL) from Violet and Raphael's litter is 7.5 weeks old, and ready for her furever home from 21/09/24. She is the last mini puppy we will have available in 2024. Viola has passed her vet check with flying colours, has had her first vaccination and is microchipped ( #941000029621171). VIOLET X RAPHAEL DOB 27-07-24 WEEK SEVEN PHOTOS

These pocket rockets have grown so much this week, and have had many new experiences. First car trip to see Dr Bek on Monday for health checks, microchips and vaccinations went very well. We seem to have had four seasons in the past seven days too, with warm sunshine, gale force winds, torrential rain, thunder and lightning. All great for puppy socialisation! Pups are getting used to going outside through the dog door in all weathers to toilet, another important skill. Lots of cuddles and visitors of all ages too, including some family dogs. The puppies are taking these events in their stride with charm and confidence 🥰.

Some of the puppies have met their furever families now, and it's been a mutual admiration society 🥰! Playing outside together in the garden is a favourite thing for the pups to do at the moment. They can move very fast, and it was hard for Rob to get them to sit still for photos today. Places to go, things to sniff, siblings to chase, shoelaces to undo!

Beautiful Violet will be heading home tomorrow to enjoy retirement with her guardians Marlo, Gino and family. Huge thanks to Marlo for being such a wonderful carer of Violet and Florence. This Clairevale mother and daughter duo have both been fabulous mamas and we have had the pleasure of their company while they have raised their gorgeous pups. We hope to continue this line with little brown collar girl if she passes her health testing at 12 months. We will be seeking a local guardian family for this special girl. Expressions of interest are being sought.

VIOLET X RAPHAEL LITTER DOB 27-07-24 WEEK FIVE PHOTOS

Five weeks old and full of fun! Violet is weaning her puppies now that they have sharp little teeth, though she still lets them feed three or four times a day. Now the weather is getting milder, the puppies are spending some time in the outside adventure playground, practising their wrestling, balancing and pouncing skills 😊. Some have figured out the doggy door already, and the others will quickly follow suit. We have introduced a crate into their expanded pen, and they love piling in to snuggle up together. Toilet training has also commenced. Two puppies are available, one male and one female. These will be our last mini puppies for a few months. Enquiries to Sue at [email protected]

We had the pleasure of a visit from Violet and her family this morning, up here on holidays. Violet was born on 30-10-17 in Ellie's second litter with Nicnak Prince Charming. The apple doesn't fall from the tree! Like peas in a pod though Violet is a bit larger (that's Ellie on the left), even down to being a little overweight!! Violet seemed to remember being here, though it was almost seven years ago. Other puppies in this litter were CV Lucille aka Lulu, CV Evensong aka Evie, Griffin, Lenny, Milo, Baxter and Boston.

SCOUT X LENNY LITTER DOB 08-06-2024
Here are the final going home photos, and some pics from new owners. We took Iggy (red collar boy) to Tullamarine to fly to Perth on Wednesday, where he has happily settled into his new home. He may be trained as an ASD therapy dog. CV Winter Sun aka Winnie has gone to our friends at Rocky Creek Vineyard Labradoodles, to hopefully join their breeding program one day. Here she is helping with the gardening! George just loves taking a running jump and landing in his ball pit 😆. Harry is loving his new family who are also looking into ASD therapy dog training. Miss Maple has settled into bay side Melbourne with her adoring owners. Noah has joined his hooman sisters to even up the family balance!

It's bittersweet when puppies leave Clairevale, but because we take the time to get to know and educate their new owners in puppy care, we are sure they are going to be so well looked after and loved 🥰.

GUARDIAN HOME OPPORTUNITY!!!

Clairevale Mr Darcy (Scout x Lenny litter DOB 09-06-24) will hopefully join our breeding program when he is all grown up. He is a GORGEOUS small standard pup with a gold fleece coat, expected to mature in the 20-25kg range.

Clairevale Guardian homes provide a forever home to our breeding prospect pups. These are pick of the litter puppies that will enter our breeding program once they reach 12 months of age and have successfully completed health and temperament screening. A guardian program enables us to retain and share with you (at a fraction of pet puppy price) the best puppies of a litter while ensuring that breeding dogs also can enjoy being a much-loved family dog.

Our preference is for a home within 1.5 hours of Wangaratta, but each application is considered individually. We particularly welcome guardians who already have a desexed Clairevale pet dog!!
