CLAIREVALE AUSTRALIAN LABRADOODLES GUARDIAN OPPORTUNITY RC GINGERBRED SPICE AKA GINNY

This beautiful medium fleece red abstract puppy is almost 10 weeks old and super sweet. We are seeking a loving guardian family willing and able to nurture Ginny and provide a forever home. Hopefully she will grow up to join our breeding program one day (after successful health testing). This means returning to Clairevale to have up to two litters of puppies. For preference, guardians are located within one hour of Wangaratta, but all applications will be considered. Ideally someone will be home for part of the week. A modest guardian bond is payable, and eligibility conditions apply to ensure Ginny is kept safe and sound. We have many beautiful families in our program, and we can arrange for you to talk to another guardian if you wish to ask them questions.

GUARDIAN HOME OPPORTUNITY!

We are pleased to introduce our newest arrival at Clairevale Labradoodles, RC Gingerbread Spice aka Ginny. She is a completely divine nine week old puppy who we have been getting to know over the past week. Ginny will hopefully join our breeding program on completion of successful health testing, and once she is mature. We are very appreciative to our fellow ALA breeders Rosemary and Tony at Rocky Creek Vineyard Labradoodles for sending this gorgeous girl to us. Ginny will mature to be medium sized (approx. 14 -16 kg) and has a soft red fleece coat with some small splashes of white. We are seeking loving and committed forever guardians for this sweetheart. Some excellent advice for raising a well adjusted dog

Dear New Puppy Owner,

CONGRATULATIONS on your new furry family member!

This is an exciting and important time for your puppy’s development. As dog trainers, the most common behavioural issues we see in adult dogs are separation anxiety, resource guarding and reactivity. These problems can be largely avoided by the way you raise your puppy.

Here’re some tips to set you on the path of success and help ensure your new bundle of joy grows up to be a stable, happy and content canine companion.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

COMMUNICATION is key to understanding your new puppy’s feelings. Learn to read their body language to know what they’re telling you.

SOCIALISATION relates to how they interact with all living things. Social experiences should be kept short and enjoyable and stop before your puppy becomes over aroused or excited.

BUILD CONFIDENCE towards everything in their environment: things with wheels, different surfaces, unusual objects, water, weather conditions.

TRAIN BEHAVIOURS like ‘sit’ and ‘come’ for all situations. If your puppy thinks sit is the magic behaviour for all good things in life, they are less likely to develop undesirable attention-seeking alternatives.

CRATE TRAIN your puppy to help them learn how to relax in a busy family household.

BUILD INDEPENDENCE from the start. Give them time by themselves close by people when you aren’t training or playing with them.

GAMES such as fetch, tug and nose works are FANTASTIC ways to bond and exercise your dog.

GENETICS play a big role! Know your breed and how to genetically fulfil them.

Christmas holidays are a fantastic opportunity to expose your puppy to many people, noises, storms, and being left alone in small bursts before everyone returns to work and school. Put the work in now to ensure a long and successful life with your dog!

INDI X LENNY LITTER DOB 13-11-24 WEEK SEVEN PHOTOS, one day early!

These little guys have had a wonderful week! On Friday they all aced their vet checks, and had vaccinations and microchips with barely a squeak. On Saturday it was family visiting day, and love was certainly all around 🥰. Some puppies met their families via WhatsApp. There have been so many visitors of all ages for cuddles and to play with, including 7 Clairevale adult dogs at one stage!! Beautiful Indi has gone to the beach for a well earned holiday with her guardian family. She has been an outstanding mama and all round gorgeous girl who will now enjoy lots of R and R in retirement. Thank you to Suz (Willow Lane Labradoodles), and Mandy, Hamish and family for sharing her with us.

INDI X LENNY LITTER DOB 13-11-24 WEEK SIX PHOTOS

All ready for a visit from Santa tonight, because we've all been very good 😆. Well, mostly! Such a sweet gentle bunch. First car ride to the vet for checks, vaccinations and microchips scheduled on Friday, before meeting some very excited families on Saturday. Indi will also be going home when her family visits on the weekend - what a fabulous mama she has been. Big thanks to Mandy and family for raising such a beautiful girl. Purple collar girl is seeking a forever home after a late deferral!! She is stunning.

We need to share some sad news. Amidst the joy of breeding labradoodle puppies, occasionally comes unexpected loss. Our 5.5 week old little black collar boy suddenly became acutely unwell on Thursday morning, with seizures. Despite three vet visits (thanks Dr Bek and team for your compassionate care) and lots of TLC and treatment, he continued to deteriorate. We decided the kindest thing to do was put him to sleep late Friday. Heartbreaking. This came completely out of the blue, and the cause is not clear - perhaps a spider bite. The other puppies are completely fine. Indi gave the little boy lots of extra attention, but doesn't seem aware that he has gone. Rest peacefully little one.

INDI X LENNY LITTER DOB 13-11-24 WEEK FIVE PHOTOS

Five weeks old tomorrow, and full of charm 🥰. Individual personalities are really starting to shine. Sharp little teeth are very much in evidence, all the better to chomp their way through chunkier food now, three times a day. Indi is still patiently providing milky top ups, but feeds are short and sweet. Indi is spending time playing with her puppies, and teaching them some important manners. This is a vital part of their development. The puppies have now met Ella, Isla and young Murphy, learning to respect the hierarchy. Part of each day is spent outside practising running, pouncing and wrestling with each other. Such fun to watch!

INDI X LENNY LITTER DOB 13-11-24 WEEK FOUR PHOTOS

These little cherubs are not in a rush to grow up 🥰. Very content to snuggle together or with Indi snoozing most of the time. They are eating some puppy mush (Lyka and Black Hawk), but still prefer Indi's well stocked milk bar. That will start to change this week as Indi continues the weaning process. The pups are beginning to practise their vocal skills, with some very cute puppy barks! Mobility and play with each other and toys is increasing too. We'll introduce them to the great outdoors this coming week.

GUARDIAN OPPORTUNITY

Meet Mo (Willow Lane California Dreaming). This gorgeous 9 week old boy will hopefully bring his unique genetic diversity to our Clairevale breeding program once he is all grown up and has passed his health testing. He has a silky fleece red and white coat, and will mature to medium size. We are seeking a committed furever family to raise, train and care for this most beautiful boy with love. Ideally you will live in the north east of Victoria or Melbourne, and someone will be home at least part time. Mo gets on well with people of all ages and other dogs. GUARDIAN OPPORTUNITY!
Meet Willow Lane California Dreaming aka Mo, who we have been getting to know at Clairevale for the past week. Mo is a stunning red abstract fleece coated boy who will mature to medium size. He has learnt to use the doggy door, to sleep in a crate, has had lots of cuddles with visitors of all ages and plays well with our pack. We are now looking for a guardian family to cherish this gorgeous boy. We hope Mo will add his wonderful genetic diversity to our breeding program one day when he is all grown up and has passed his health testing.
We will consider applications from both families in the north east of Victoria and Melbourne. The right family will have someone home for at least some of the week and will be committed to continuing training. There is a guardian bond payable, which is a fraction of the cost of a pet puppy. Mo is ready to join his furever family now. Families who already have a Clairevale labradoodle are especially welcome to apply 🥰.

WL Lady Koko aka Indi x CV Red Baron aka Lenny litter DOB 13/11/24

Congratulations to Indi and Lenny on the arrival of six gorgeous chunky puppies yesterday afternoon 🥰. Indi is a star! Three girls (chocolate, gold and black) and three boys (two chocolate and one caramel cream) born with calm grace in just under three hours. As a midwife, I am privileged and in awe to witness such a birth. A huge thank you to our wonderful guardians Mandy, Helen and families for providing such loving homes to Indi and Lenny.
