Angel and Shortcake go home! They will be Hazel and Remy! They will have some furry family members along with lots of laps to sleep in! These littles will always be so special as they were the first kittens to have been born at my house. Thank you for the chance to co-parent with your momma Biscuit. Love you fuzzy bums! 🧡🖤🤍

The Biscuits did great for their speuters! Everyone was very interested in licking their surgery sites so on with the cones. At home, the boys were thrashing and banging into things. So I am trying out the soft donuts. It’s better but not much. Shortcake won’t give into the rudeness of it all. Angel has gone over to the suckle bed and has fallen asleep standing up. My poor babies. It will all be better tomorrow.

Christmas decorations and the tree have gone up! As I hung the stockings, I realized I never made it IG/FB official. Joe and Cleo are home ❤️.

I was asked to make a binder with all the LC3 adoptable cats for Pints 4 Paws back in October. I made the book and realized afterward that I didn’t have a profile for Joe or Cleo. So it was a sealed deal. I mean they have been “home” for a very long time. But they are now officially part of the furry crew 🐾.

Happy Caturday from the Biscuits!

They go for speuters on Tuesday! Finally! Angel and Shortcake have been spoken for but Biscotti, Buttermilk and Scone are looking to be your bestie! I think Buttermilk and Biscotti could be a good pairing. Scone can also be easily paired with a brother. Either way, they would do best with a kitty friend.

It’s possible that Kai and Keanu will join for neuters as well. They will be available too!

Hello friends!

Giving Tuesday is tomorrow! I know lots of charities will be asking for donations. Hopefully you can add LC3 to your list! We had quite a few major surgeries (Rasta was one of them) to cover this year and could really use help building back our resources to help our community cat population in 2024.

Look who I visited last night! Oscar! Just look at him! So handsome 💙. His whiskers have finally grown back and I think his gray is darker than before. He continues to love springs, investigate everything, might have broken a few things in the process and snuggling with his mom and dad. He and his furry brother Denny play together.

Happy Thanksgiving!

MJ had her eye appointment yesterday and will be having surgery on her left eye soon. Her eye is a functioning eye, just the third eyelid covers it up and obscures her vision.

She was also a complete turkey and 💩’ed on the way home. The volunteer who took her to the appointment for me since I was working was so kind and washed up her paws when they got to the house.

It’s lump day! And day before Thanksgiving!

I decided that dark orange is going to be Kai and stripey orange stays Keanu. I love Yam and Russet as names but I have a feeling that they may be available post the holidays and having names sort of related to holidays could make it hard for them to get looked at. I hope not! But we do have a lot of kittens coming available for adoption.

Kai is doing great. He is very friendly and loves attention. He is soft like a bunny. He loves belly rubs and kisses. Keanu is also doing well but still gets nervous. Kai does a great job with him and in minutes, Keanu is rolling on his back for belly rubs. They are adorable 🧡🧡. Once everyone is clear of 💩 issues, they can hang with the Biscuits.

This sh*thead broke into MJ and Rasta’s room as I was leaving their room this morning. MJ was less than impressed with Frisco! Spent a good five minutes getting him out. He runs under the futon where he knows I cannot get to him. Put the girls in the bathroom and then worked on getting him out. Sigh…crazy morning.

So…I am pretty sure I have two boys and not one girl/one boy. So now I am rethinking names. I had picked Kelani for what was the girl and Keanu for the boy. Could Kelani still be for a boy?

In a 180 degree idea, I was thinking Yam and Russet or Morris and Maury.

After 5 months of looking for a job, I started today at my new place of employment!

I probably won’t have as much daily content but will try to keep up in the evenings. Gotta earn the 💰 to keep these kitties living large 😹.

Raz and MJ are such sweet cats. They are incredibly playful and their other foster mom tells me the LOVE water. She would often find them in the shower and sometimes sitting in with her. Raz is healing really well. She still has a few more weeks of antibiotics. Her neck fur is starting to grow back. She purrs up a storm. MJ goes to the eye doc next week to look at her eye again. She loves giving head butts and wet nose kisses.

The Biscuits are 9 weeks old today! They are such fun kittens, full of shenanigans and so sweet. Scone is the only one who has hit 2lb but the other boys will be there soon. Angel still behind but catching up .

Rasta is doing so great after the surgery. She must feel SO much better now. She is incredibly sweet. She hates taking her antibiotic but doesn’t make too much fuss. She just knows now when i take her to the bathroom, it’s medicine time. Bringing MJ here was perfect for her and they have a good time playing with each other. MJ is hilarious that she is obsessed like really obsessed with the springs and the random zip tie thing that Rasta found. She dives into the tunnel with them and is so all in with her play. She is going to see another eye specialist soon to look at her left eye again. Despite all that these two have had going on, they are so loving and trusting. They are the prefect little pair of misfits 🩷🩷.

Momma Biscuit!

MommaB will be going home tomorrow back to her caretaker and kitty friends. She was a really good momma and baked up some perfect little biscuits 🧡🧡💛💛🖤.

While she has been okay since on her own without the babes, I can tell she is wanting to move on from her stay here at the CatHairBnB. She hasn’t been as interactive and a little sullen. She looks lustfully out the window, ready to go.

She is now fully vaccinated, street legal as the vet team put it 😹.

I will miss this sweet girl but I know she will be happy back in her own environment surrounded by her family.

Welcome Rasta!

Rasta is one of LC3 kitties up for adoption. She had surgery on Monday to remove an ear and nasal polyp. Ouch! She is gonna hang with me for a few days. She has to be on crate rest and can’t be with other cats while she recovers due to the risk of the incision becoming infected or opening up. She is not pleased with the arrangement. She is especially bonded to her sister MJ and has been wailing in loneliness 💔. The good news is the surgery seems to have been a success.

Krispy and Kreme went back to their foster yesterday. Pretty sure we will be looking for a home for the two of them together 💙🩷. Hit LC3 or me up if interested!

Big day for the Biscuits! They got their first vaccine today, dewormer and all those toe nails trimmed. So many toes! Shout out to Julie for that! The kids were so good for , just squirmy for nails.

Krispy 💙 & Kreme 🩷.

Here is a bit of their story.
Though the property owner knew both of them were around, they were able to get Krispy first. Krispy had a severe upper respiratory infection and was lethargic. His blood glucose levels were rock bottom causing him to have a seizure and be unresponsive. We got him immediately to a ER that night and then LUV took over the next day. He went into the care of a medical foster where he was monitored as much as possible. A few days later, Kreme was trapped. She also had a severe URI but she was stable. With Krispy doing better, we put them back together and they have been stuck like glue to each other since then. They are really sweet and starting to feel better overall. They love the jingly toys the most. They are gaining confidence and are snuggly. Kreme loves having her belly rubbed and Krispy loves getting his chin scratched. My productivity has been in the tank since they arrived 😹.

They go back to their foster tomorrow evening. I will post updates along the way. They aren’t available for adoption yet but will be in the coming weeks. Absolutely adorable kitties!

Happy 6 weeks biscuits! They are doing great and Angel is finally sampling the meats! 😹

Momma is also doing well and showing exemplary patience with her babies as they use her as a jungle gym 🧡.

The kiddos will get their first checkups next week!

Momma Biscuit 🧡🤍. She didn’t feel good yesterday, nauseated. With the help from , she got some cerenia and she is feeling better today. Yay!

If you zoom in, you can see the water beard she gave herself. 😹

She has gotten used to me now and lets me pet her to a point. I still have to keep my guard up but I know the cues. I know she is going to be so happy to be done with these hooligans and be back with her own kitty family and her caretaker.

The biscuits are 5 weeks old today! 4/5 are eating slurry and I think all are using the litter box, even the deposit next to the box as it’s good intentions 😹. They are playing with toys and wrestling each other even if it looks like two drunken sailors going at it.

It was a great day at for the fundraiser! Windy but such a fun day! I brought home some homemade catnip toys and they were a huge hit…drool all over the floor kind of hit! Looking forward to next year!
