Rainbow of Promise has been in existence just two short years. During this time, we have had the awesome opportunities to be of service on an individual basis, small groups and even a retreat workshop! The retreat workshop called ‘Opening Your Heart Thru Way of the Horse’ was held October 2012. It took place at the mystical, earthy and nurturing ‘Circle of Trees’ Retreat Center owned and operated by the family of Marjorie Spadoni in Milford, Pennsylvania. During this retreat, we co-facilitated with my four-legged ‘Buddhas’, Honey and Bridie, and had some amazing sessions for eleven women who were attending this particular retreat. Rainbow of Promise is an equine-facilitated service where the participant interacts with one or both horses. These magnificent creatures have a very incredible sensitivity in ‘reading’ energy – their survival depends on it! Horses require authenticity and will let you know just how ‘authentic’ or true to your real self you are being . . . .
No prior horse experience is necessary, just a willingness and desire to become more aligned with your truth. These 4-legged ‘barometers’ or ‘mirrors’ majorly assist in helping participants pay much more attention to subtleties; body language; and ‘heart intelligence’! Horses depend on their ability to read or feel the unseen for safety reasons and this helps participants to begin to ‘get out of their heads and into their hearts’! The heart has a much more powerful brain than does the head, and when we listen to the heart, we take steps that are more aligned with who we are and what we truly want. Most of us are a compilation of our parents’ attitudes and expectations; school teachers and students that shaped our opinions especially of ourselves. Then there is society . . . and the list goes on.
We all are products of multi-sources of influence, shaping perspectives with so much of it being restrictive, intimidating and false – meeting everyone else’s expectations and NOT our own. These patterns have been entrenched for generations and are not even noticed as a result! However, with an equine facilitated session, a participant can begin to become more aware of what they are actually portraying or projecting to the outside world, thus enabling one to change what does not match with what they truly desire!
Horse energy is very healing and uplifting as are dogs and cats, but they have the ability to take it even further, allowing the individual to truly go within and begin to take the steps to empower oneself.

In addition to the equine experiential sessions, Rainbow of Promise has other life tools. When one thinks of rainbows, color is what comes to mind. Well, Rainbow of Promise also offers an opportunity to learn how color impacts our lives – colors and numbers that is – and each carry a particular vibration. Since each person has a unique vibration (life path) when they are born, both colors and numbers can be used to help us better understand how their vibrations will affect the aspects of our personalities and the choices we make as we journey through life. Both your date of birth and your birth name carry numerous vibrations unique to you and Rainbow of Promise can put together a color and number personal profile for you.
Finally, there is also a chakra clearing and aligning service which can easily be incorporated with any or all of the aforementioned services.
