A beautiful boy, Luka, (6 months old in this pic) daddy to Sheba, Simba and many others! This beautiful boy lives inside of Prada and Lola, as he is their grandfather. Such a beautiful boy and a kind soul. We miss him so very much ! He lived 9 years, 9 months, 4 days, and no matter how long he lived, it will never be enough. Luka sends me many signs and sent an I love you in a dream. I love you Luka! I hope you’re playing with Zoey and Jax in heaven! Until we meet again. Dogs have souls like us and energy never dies.

I ask myself “ How do I go on?” I know I’ve done it before but for some reason it doesn’t feel real. Yes, I knew the day was coming but it felt too fast. I prayed to God to heal you but when I didn’t see you get better I reasoned with God because I knew he would know what to do. I asked God to let me know if it was time to let you go. I told him If he won’t make you better then don’t let you suffer. I know he heard me because today you were so sick, so weak and so tired. You gave it your everything my sweet boy Luka. You were SO loved by so many and I was the lucky person to call you mine. I miss you and that big bark. You will ALWAYS live in my heart! Your blood runs through EVERY fur baby that left our home. Fly high sweet boy. I know Zoey and Jax met you. You are finally whole again. I sure hope they have a built in pool for you to swim in. Bird man, Luka Ba Dooka , wiggle butt. God knows I miss you already. I hope you will visit me in my dreams♥️Until we meet again….because energy never dies.

Yesterday, 4 weeks post op for Myka. Her vet was pleased. She goes back in a month for x-rays to see how she’s progressing. Myka is felling much better and keeping her calm is becoming more difficult. She just wants to frolic around. ❤️❤️❤️

Myka, 2 days post TPLO surgery, snoozing.
Ended up taking her bandage off today, it started slipping exposing her wound. With no bandage, we had to put her donut on to prevent her from licking the surgical area. She’s not too happy about that but she’s making the best of it.

We did a little walk out back today and she was able to put a little weight on her leg for a brief moment.

Myka from her TPLO surgery. Her doctors and care givers said she was fabulous. Got her home and she’s resting now (sorta).

Big thanks to her doctors and staff at Page Point Animal Hospital and Pet Resort and her surgeon from Synergy Mobile Veterinary Surgery. They have taken excellent care of this precious pup.

My oldest pup, Myka has torn her left CCL while playing with her sister in the backyard. She goes for surgery next month. Breaks my heart to see her in pain. 💔💔 love this pup to the ends of the universe. both go all in playing and Paikea is a much stronger pup. She’ll recover but will take time.

Vet day for the girls
Everyone was entertained from these two clowns. 🤣

Paikea weighed in at 103lbs. Last year she was 115lbs. She’s near her ideal weight now.

Myka is at 80 lbs, she gained 5 lbs but hides it well.
Her ideal weight is 63lbs but 70 is our goal this year.

Both are in perfect health and hold my heart. ❤️❤️❤️

Girls recent visit to the vets.

Both were in perfect health. I had been reducing the amount of food my youngest (Paikea) gets over the last few months, so was extremely surprised when she weighed in @ 115.8 lbs. Shes getting less food with fresh green beans/carrots added for now and NO treats. She’s not too happy about this.

My oldest (Myka) weighed in @ 75.5 lbs, which is 9 lbs over her ideal weight and is getting cut back a little bit too.

My pup Paikea is on the right, and her litter mate Brother Simba (on the left), uncanny how much they resemble each other.

Simba, son of the breeder, just sired his first litter of 12 puppies, 7 boys and 5 girls. It was also the first litter for the mommy, Prada. The pups are now 5 days old and growing and will be huge, should check out Pimpin My Rotties to watch these beautiful Rotties grow up.

Pai is now an Auntie. 🥰🥰🥰
