I had never heard of this, but it sounds pretty cool. While Gemini said this is NOT true, Google says that it is and lists a number of vet schools that have programs.

Did you know:
If you have a pacemaker, you can put it in your Will to have your pacemaker donated to a dog in need after you pass. Pacemakers cannot be donated to another human, but they can be donated to dogs with cardiac issues who would depend on it to stay alive.
You can have the pacemaker brought to a vet of your choice. So many of those get thrown away and dogs die because people don't know they can do this. It even saves the dog's owner the cost of the actual pacemaker which sometimes means the difference in being able to afford lifesaving treatment or not.

After more than 10 years, I have lowered the price of each of my main training videos from $60 to $40!

My goals have evolved over the years and helping improve MORE dog / owner relationships is much more important to me now than making money.

The videos are both approximately two hours long and cover everything you need to know to get your dog to listen to you and give you the tools to be able to change nearly any dog behavior.

Each video has a preview on my website (link below).

I do offer individual client video calls. Four 30-minute video sessions is the equivalent of a single 90 minute in-person session.

Get Your Dog Training Questions Answered For Free!

I would really like to start doing sessions where I can answer dog owner questions about training and record the session to post on X and also on YouTube. As near as I can tell neither X nor YT has the ability to do this built in. YT allows comments and replies to comments, but I need to talk to the owner to ask questions as it is too many questions to type in comments.

It seems like that makes it considerably more challenging as I will have to line up the interviews offline rather than simply choose followers on the platform real-time.

If anyone has any insight or advice on how I can do this or is willing to help me through the process I would greatly appreciate the help (even be happy to barter dog training in exchange).

Thanks!

There is only one breed of dog that is specifically bred to be stubborn and ignore what the owner tells them to do. It's a pretty common breed. Have a guess?...

About Jaimie Scott Dog Owner Training

Working with dogs and dog owners is my passion! It brings me great joy to know that the work I am doing is improving the quality of the lives of a dog and owner. The first thing you should know about me and my approach is that I am completely self-taught. I didn’t learn anything I will show you from a book, a video, or another trainer. I developed ALL of my own techniques! I don’t think about how to interact with dogs. I have the ability to look at a dog and tell you what you need to do to change any behavior the dog has. Clients often ask me, “Why did you do that?” Most often my reply is “What did I do?” I frequently am responding to a dogs energy in a given situation rather than “thinking” about what I am doing. I feel VERY lucky that I happened onto training dog owners as my career!

Most people have dogs because they like to share affection with their dogs. Dogs like affection. First and foremost they need structure in order to be happy and feel secure. Insecurity drives a LOT of bad dog behavior! Success is in finding the right balance that meets the primary needs of both you and your dog.
