Previously known as Princess Tulla Belle, Sasha has led the life of luxury for some years (we think she is around 8 years old), but her human has passed on, and now she needs a new person or family to spoil her!

She has had all the usual (spayed, tested, vaccinated), and her senior blood panel was all good, too! She would prefer to continue to live the regal life, with no other kitties to pester the princess, LoL! Are you looking for your 'one special someone'?

Donations Requested --- For A Dog???

Sheena is an 11 year old Pomeranian mix belonging to one of our best-ever Volunteers, Jennifer, who manages our kitten adoption center at Petco. A few weekends ago, Sheena spent most of the weekend... well, let's just say she was having trouble at both ends.

An Office Visit at Four Paws (our favorite cat vet) the following Monday was $150, but overnight her situation greatly worsened, and the next day, Sheena required urgent, life-saving surgery for $1,125. It turns out the actual medical issue was not the GI tract itself, but an internal hernia that compromised Sheena's bladder and caused a severe tissue infection.

I'm more than thrilled to report that little Sheena is recovering very well, and was able to get her 11 stitches out on Friday of last week.

Obviously, we are not a canine organization, but Jennifer is a very valuable Volunteer who turned to us for both guidance and financial help. Jennifer had qualified with the State of DE for an "Income-Eligible" voucher for Sheena's spay, but without our help, she would not have been able to begin to afford the desperately needed, but highly expensive, bladder surgery to save Sheena's life.

So ... We're asking for your help, to our followers - I know some of you also love dogs as well as cats, in the hope that you might choose to assist outside our normal purrr-view? I had authorized the surgery to be put under Homeless Cat Helpers out of sheer faith, and now I'm turning to you in the hope of your assistance.

These 3 cats were recently trapped as part of a colony TNR in Bridgeville recently. However, Sweetie(f), Sparrow(m), and Princess(f) (left to right) obviously needed more help than just being spayed or neutered - they had seriously infected eyes as well.

And even though we had our vet give us a GENEROUS discount, the bills are still significant.

The 3 surgeries (1 each for Sweetie & Sparrow, both for Princess) cost $746. When you add in the supporting medicine plus the spay / neuter, it climbs to $922.

Meet Lucky!

Lucky's human Mom has passed away, and she isn't doing great in the new home of the daughter (with 3 other cats and a puppy). She would do better as the only cat, or maybe just one other cat. Like many long-haired kitties, Lucky is aloof - - - wants attention, but only when SHE wants it, LoL!
Lucky is about 8 years old, spayed, Up To Date on Rabies and Distemper shots, and DECLAWED.

UPDATE: A Foster has been found - Thank you!

Please help us help Sunny!

One of our recent adopters has reached out to me, as her daughter has befriended a very pretty calico we are calling Sunny, who is such a sweet little stray kitty! She is currently living outdoors, in a utility closet.

The thing is, Sunny is pregnant, and we just can not spay her, as others might. She is Very friendly, outgoing, talkative - - - everything we could wish for in an adoptable kitty! Chances are, she is quite young, and this is her very first litter.

We want Sunny, and every one of her soon-to-be-kittens, for our adoption program. But, my regular Fosters are already full (and, some are doubled up), and this is a somewhat lengthy need. Maybe 2 or 3 weeks or so before Sunny gives birth, and then 8 or 9 weeks to raise the kittens & wean them. Not that any one home has to foster for the entire 10 or 12 weeks . . . we could split the time up, if we get enough takers . . . say, 3 homes, to each take a turn of about 4 weeks.

If you think you could open your heart and your home to let Sunny brighten your day and your life, please let us know ASAP! We can send you pictures and/or a video in texting, if you like, and then put you in touch with the lady who is feeding her. We am absolutely desperate to get Sunny settled into an indoor setting, before she gives birth!!!

Meet Little Buddy.

He's a timid but affectionate young adult. He loves cuddling and is laidback, when he isn't chasing the laser light pen's little red dot around. Little Buddy has been tested, vaxed, and neutered - - all he needs now is a fur-ever home filled with love!

Smokey is about 2 years old, and is currently living in Lisa's backyard, in a dog house. He was neutered and tested Negative for FIV and FeLV, and is up to date on his Rabies shots. He is timid but very sweet and enjoys sitting in a warm comfy lap. Smokey is a gentle cat who would do best with someone who will be patient with him transitioning to being an inside cat.

HELP US WITH DILLON'S MEDICAL EXPENSES!

Dillon's brother and sister were adopted as kittens last year, but he wasn't so lucky, so he continued living outside, on the chicken farm where all 3 were born. He was being fed and doing OK, up until last week, when some unknown, traumatic, injury befell him.

The family contacted me Friday morning (12/2), and then brought him straight to Four Paws. That very afternoon, after x-rays showed there were no breaks, nor even fractures, nor dislocations, Dr. Mike amputated what was left of his tail, debrided (cleaned off bad tissue) his rump area, and gave him about 12 stitches (starting from where his tail had been, up to almost the middle of his back). Dillon was also tested, vaccinated, and neutered at that time.

On Saturday, Dillon was discharged and brought to live indoors with his sister, Miss Kitty, and her human family. On, Tuesday (12/6) he had his follow-up office visit with Dr. Mike, who felt he was progressing very well. Just this morning, April, his new Mom, assured me that Dillon continues to be happy, comfortable, and doing well!

After our Rescue discounts, Dillon's bill came to $583 for everything. Would you wish to help us pay our Four Paws bill for him, by making a donation?

Meet Spunky

Lisa found Spunky as a loving stray cat in her backyard. She has had him neutered, tested (he doesn't have FIV or Feline Leukemia), brought up to date on his shots, and he is thought to be about 3 years young! He very much wants to be an indoor cat again, trying all the time to sneak inside, but Lisa already has her fair share of rescued kitties.

Spunky comes when he is called, and often will reach one or both of his paws up to ask for love and attention. He absolutely loves to be held, and gives face-rubbies and head-butts!
