Routine nail maintenance is more than cosmetic! Overgrown nails can cause pain, and in some instances, irreversible damage to a dog's body. To prevent nails from becoming overgrown they should be trimmed every couple weeks. Contact Kerrie at 231-587-0533 to schedule a nail trim for your pup!

Helpful Tip: Walking your dog on a paved surface can help wear down long, sharp nails.

Now that summer is here I thought I'd take a moment and remind everyone of our policies. I am more than willing to be flexible and work with folks on scheduling but in return I ask that you please also be respectful of my time, as I am a one person operation.

GROOMING
🐾Any pickup time frame given at drop off is estimated, when your pet’s groom is nearing completion, I will notify you by phone or text. When you arrive to pick up your pet, please remain in your vehicle until we call or text you to say that your dog is ready for pick up. An excited pet can be dangerous to work on if they see you before their groom is completed it takes time to calm them in order to continue safely. If you have additional questions or concerns after drop off we ask that you please call or text.

🐾All dogs must be picked up within 1 half hour (30 minutes) of being notified groom is finished and dog/s are ready for pick up. Each dog left over 1 hour after groom is complete will incur an additional $20 fee. All dogs must be picked up by an authorized person no later than the close of business or overnight boarding fee will be charged.

🐾No shows, last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours) or continual re-scheduling are subject to the full groom fee per dog which will be charged on the same day. **We understand there are emergency situations and are happy to work with you but please be respectful of our time as we are a by-appointment business and other clients could have filled your appointment.

BOARDING
🐾We must know if your dog can jump, climb, scale or may dig under fencing.

🐾Pet food must be provided by the owner for the pets entire stay, if additional food is needed we will purchase additional food at the owners expense. (We do not recommend any change to your pets diet while boarding as it can add additional stress to your pet)

🐾Clinton Oaks is not responsible for any items brought in with your pet that may be lost, damaged, or eaten.

PAYMENT POLICY
🐾Acceptable payments methods are: Cash, Check (made payable to: Clinton Oaks), Credit Card, PayPal or Venmo.
*Credit Cards are subject to a 4% processing fee
*Returned checks are subject to a $25 service fee

ALL boarding payments are required in full at drop off. ALL payments for grooming services must be made in full at pick up.
