Ziggy is an outside dog at home but came in for some breakfast and cuddles this morning ❤️ He’s our most frequent visitor and is so loved by everyone here, two and four legged.
Top marks for enthusiastic recall. Making ‘training’ a game and part of our everyday means it’s not an issue at all. Little Miss Molly is a very typical little JR, full of adventure, curiosity, prey drive and with zero fear so given an opportunity she is OFF! We play the recall and check in game constantly at home with lots of treats and praise and now we are progressing to out in the big wide world. Our husky has a very typical breed temperament and so I’ve been very careful about introducing these two. Today was their first play and I’m really pleased with both of them. So often our young dogs are very poorly socialised and lose the communication skills they learn with their mum and litter mates. You’ll note when Molly squeaks there is an immediate back off and reset. It’s a very good start.
