(1)

We specialize in aquarium design, installation & maintenance of saltwater and freshwater systems in the Tampa Bay area. Our experienced team is dedicated to their craft and to unmatched customer service and satisfaction. The art of aquarium keeping is our passion and it shows in our work. Our style is to mimic nature in our displays in order to get natural behaviors from the fish and inverts. One

of the greatest ways to appreciate what is in our oceans and to embrace their conservation, is to see the incredible creatures and diversity of life first hand. We care for every animal we bring in and put them through an extensive quarantine process to ensure their health and the health of the systems we maintain as we introduce them to our customers tanks. We use aquacultured fish and corals as often as possible and only bring in fish from other sources that we have proven success with. We work with them all. If you want an aquarium and aren't sure where to start, give us a call today. If you are unhappy with your aquarium and need some help turning it around, we are the guys for you.

Finally getting around to posting this new installation. 72”x18”x30” tank with their elegance furniture in Spanish oak. Three radion xr15 gen 5 doing their impression of the sun. This was an upgrade for the customer in their new home after leaving a wall installation behind in the old house. They were thrilled to have their pets back after many months, as we looked after their corals at our shop while the system was being built.

More candy delivered to this beautiful custom acrylic mixed reef tank….some zoas, lobos, goni, & few new fish. It keeps swallowing up everything we throw at it. Still plenty of room for more coral with a footprint of 120”x24”x30” and very happy with the custom aluminum light surround holding 5 ai hydra32s.

Working on a refugium installation today....20x20x16 for a 500+ gallon reef display. Don’t need crazy lighting for algae...these clip-on LED plant lights grow macros like crazy. We mod them by siliconing all the seams to make them moisture resistant. We built a shelf above the sump in the equipment closet so we can pump up to the refugium from a supply valve off the main circulation pumps and gravity flow down to the sump and into a bag filter. The original plumbing design allowed for expansion to add this easily. We have a separate emergency drain in case of any blockage to the primary. We typically run these lights 24 hours. They are very beneficial to our reef aquariums. Algae tomorrow!!

Had fun with this scape and startup today. Used a mix of rock from previous client setups; Tonga, Fiji, Haitian. It was a bit challenging, but it’s close and we’ll adjust as corals are placed. It’s cycle time!

Scape is done & now we fill & fire it up! No leaks! Cycle time!

Scape Day!!!
Time lapse of our aquascape today. We’re pretty happy with how it turned out. Will be tweaking a few areas but overall it has tons of play areas for fish and placement options for coral. Reef bones are in!

This project has been in the works for a while...thrilled to finally be pushing it forward. The AQ crew did an awesome job getting this beast delivered yesterday. It’s a 84”x24”x36” custom tank with custom furniture...putting the total height around 90”. Going to be a saltwater soft reef with the fish being the stars of the scape. ...

Finally got a picture to share of this new installation. The floor to ceiling windows and beautiful gulf view that this tank faces, puts reflection on it all day. Thankfully, shooting it from above clears much of that up. Just turned the lights on for the pic, so things aren’t even stretched out yet, but very happy with how it’s coming together.

This is one of our first complete scapes with & really enjoyed working with it. The structure offers tons of coral placement options with the various shelves built and the fish love all the caves to explore. Really a fun tank to sit back and watch!
