Ride number 12 in the books and Nuggie went on his first ever trail ride!! Not only that, he went out ALONE!!
He crossed two creeks, trotted up hills and through woods and never once out a foot out of place
Sometimes I Almost wish I had kiddos, because I think he would be the perfect babysitter in a year or so
Oh well, guess I just get to hog him for myself 😉

Took Nuggie to his first open ride last week and not only jumped right on the trailer (we haven’t been anywhere since he was about a year old) he off loaded perfectly, stood tacked up for about an hour while I worked mercy and then worked for me like a perfect gentleman.
He had his eighth ride off site, in a new indoor arena he’s never seen before, after not being worked since THANKSGIVING. He blows me away with how cool he is.

I’m also very excited as I’ve finalized plans to send him to a trainer in the fall to get him going on some cattle work so he can be my team sorting horse!
The future is bright Little Nug, and I can’t wait to see it with you🫶🫶
