It's with a heavy heart that we announce that Tipsy Nip will be closing down on Friday, April 26. It has been a wonderful journey. We will miss seeing all of the beautiful photos, videos, and kind messages you have shared with us over the last 13 years.

Many of you saw our joint Facebook announcement with Best Friends Animal Society, Houston Pets Alive, and Houston PetSet yesterday afternoon. That partnership will officially kick-off towards the end of this week as all entities involved move locations and prepare for this initiative. Because APA! is ready to kick things off now - and because we need to move our operations off of the hot Katy asphalt! - we are actually moving into our own temporary shelter location! It's right next door to NRG so the collaboration between these four organizations will continue to help find homes for surrendered or shelter pets, connect resources with those in need, adopt directly out of the NRG facility, and maintain a stray hold.

Here's how you can get involved starting THIS EVENING -
1. Folks around Katy this PM: we'll need help manning our Katy hub in case we receive additional animals through the evening who need to go through intake and be vetted.
2. Houston people: who's up for a good workout? We have semis and trucks currently en route to our new indoor facility and we could really use help unloading!
3. Folks around Katy tomorrow AM: the plan is to finalize our move tomorrow morning, so we'll need additional hands to help tear down, pack up and transport the rest of our operation here.

We so appreciate you hanging with us through all these updates! We look forward to moving into 8620 Stella Link Rd. this evening and hope to see you either at Katy Mills or Stella Link.

Pippa Pepper

We learned today of the passing of a friend, fan, and customer. Joplin Japhet was the "manager" of Petal Pushers in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He will be dearly missed. We send our love to his people and ask that you all hug your kitties a little tighter today. ❤️

It is with a broken heart that I write this to share that our beloved shop kitty, Joplin Japhet, has passed away. He passed peacefully in my arms, surrounded by love. We ask for your help in sharing this post to spread the word to all of the people that loved Joplin. It will be difficult for us to have to tell the many customers and families that would stop in to visit him. Joplin was found as a stray, and was an amazing example of the potential shelter pets have, given a chance and a little love. He shared love and purrs with everyone he met, and it would mean so much to us to see that love carried forward. Please consider donating financially or with time or supplies to Bay Area Humane Society or any of the other wonderful animal welfare groups in our community, or please consider adopting a shelter pet. It just may be the best decision you ever make. A special thank you to Paul and Joey for helping our furry little man find his way to us. We feel blessed to have had him in our lives and to have been able to share his love and warmth with all of those that knew him.
