Sweet, sweet Faith loves pets! She has head tilt but gets around pretty well. She is a bit unsteady on her feet, so she would need the comfort of another bunny to bond with, as her previously bonded bunny is no longer with her.
She’s a gorgeous New Zealand – very friendly and easy going – and will absolutely, easily win your heart once you meet her in person.
💗 This trio of Holland Lops are adorable and sweet and love each other very much. 🥹

Meet Cinnamon and Checkers! Cinnamon is the white, light tan, and grey harlequin lop. 😍
He is almost 3 years old. Checkers is a female, grey agouti lop. Her date of birth is 9/16/2021 so she is about a month younger than her companion. These two bunnies sadly lost their home at no fault of their own. 💔 Cinnamon is very confident and is the first to run up to say hello and inquire if you have any food. Checkers is very sweet. She has to get comfortable and feel safe before she lets her full personality shine. ⏳
She is loving, inquisitive and enjoys pets. These two love each other, are very sweet, and enjoy running around and exploring. Usually with Cinnamon as the lead. If you are interested in giving Checkers and Cinnamon a wonderful forever home, please fill out an adoption application today at bunnybunch.org.

🔊 Sound on for a special update from our founder, Caroline, as she shares great news about the three splayed leg baby bunnies! 🐇✨ Remember last week when we rescued these three precious bunnies from a cardboard box? They've been under our care for a week now, and we're thrilled to announce that they're doing well!
Despite their tiny size, they're munching on hay like champs and doing exceptionally well. In a couple of months, they'll be ready for adoption once Caroline assesses them further.
Stay tuned for more updates! 📆💖

Five more babies just rescued! I’ve had them for about two weeks now. Don’t know the background but they had been separated from their mother at only three weeks old… babies need to stay with their mother until at least eight weeks old.
They are doing well and eating lots of Alfalfa hay. Stay tuned for more photos and videos.

Bongo Pongo is Back to Normal!
I’m happy to report that Bongo Pongo is back to his normal self. (Excuse the shoes in the video). Thank you all for your kind words on his previous post💕 He did need some critical care overnight, such as IV fluids and IV medications.
For those of you not familiar with this, when a rabbit goes into GI stasis, they are often given SQ (subcutaneous fluids) and SQ medications to get their GI (gastrointestinal) going again, which works really well. But when it is a critical situation, IV (intravenous) medication and fluids are needed to go directly into the bloodstream. While he does have some medical issues I am taking care of, he is doing very well. The key to recovery is going to an experienced exotic vet as soon as you see your rabbit is not eating, subdued, or you can tell something is off.

Tip of the Day🐰 Do you have safe chews for your rabbits? Unfortunately, since rabbits have become more popular, companies are now selling all sorts of things for rabbits to chew. Many are dangerous and could even be deadly. I can’t believe the things I see in the big box stores and all these places selling online.
A lot of these companies have no idea what’s safe and what is not, and don’t care. It’s important to keep your rabbit entertained by giving them an assortment of chews. But, make sure to buy from a reliable source.
BunnyBunchBoutique.com online and walk in stores, has lots of wonderful chews to choose from like this oval hide house. Keep your rabbits happy and safe. 🙏

ABANDONED!
Three splayed leg babies left outside in a box.
Not sure if you saw the original post but I’ve had them for a week now, wasn’t sure if they were going to make it, but luckily they did!
I’m guessing they were only about two weeks old when abandoned, they were underweight and I had no idea when they were last fed by their mother. I syringe fed them a special milk mix and I am happy to report they all survived.
I will be taking videos and posting how to do good set ups for splay legged rabbits. Plus other important information about care as they grow. They will be available for adoption, but not for several months so I can assess their splayed legs, how well they get around and how much special care they may need.
Over the past 40 years I have taken in many splayed leg rabbits. They generally do very well and live long happy lives with the proper care.
Extra care can be special set ups for them depending on how well they can get around. Some get around well and live like a regular rabbit would, while other need special set ups and often need help with grooming, cleaning their ears due to the fact their legs can’t scratch their ears to loosen the wax, plus they often need bottom baths as they can’t reach certain areas to groom themselves.
Splay leg is a physical disability where, one, two, three or all four of the legs splay out to the side of the body so the rabbit is not able to stand up or walk. However they do learn to scoot to get around. It’s a genetic condition passed on from the parents which causes weakness in the connective tissue to the legs.
There are some suggestions on how you can try to correct it if it’s caught early enough by strapping the legs in a special way. But it has to be done for quite a while and the babies are unable to move or get around. I feel unless it’s a case where the rabbit can’t move at all I don’t want to put a rabbit through that, especially knowing they can do very well with out it.
