Sharing for a friend!

This is Kobi, a very energetic 3 year old Golden retriever/Great Pyrenees mix.

We are a military family recently relocated from the east coast. Unfortunately, he has never bonded with my husband as he was away for the first 1.5 years of his life. Kobi is very protective of me and shows constant aggression towards my husband. I am Kobi’s main person, and am also recovering from an accident two weeks ago. I had to have reconstructive shoulder surgery, in which the recovery time will make caring for him difficult and physically challenging. This is why we are painfully deciding to rehome him.

- New owner needs to be fairly active to take him on 2-3 walks per day.
- New owner needs to be experienced with dogs
- New home can't have small children and other pets until you are aware of his behaviour.
- He is an anxious dog but when he gets his exercise, he’s more calm.
- Crate and house trained.
- He sheds a lot.
- He is a great walking companion but still needs some coaching.
- He loves to play.
- He is neutered and fully vaccinated.
- He loves to dig.
- Located in Ottawa area.
***He has golden retriever qualities, but he is mixed breed. Keep that in mind. ***

Please contact if interested and we can go from there. We really are serious in finding the right person for him as we do care about his wellbeing and want him to be in a safe new home.
