Meet our adoptablele dogs! July 2024
🌟 Welcome to the world, Lacey Loo! We’re thrilled to introduce this precious little angel to the Socalpom Rescue family. Lacey Loo is an orphaned puppy with a deformed back leg, but she’s full of love and hope. A wonderful lady took care of her, but due to her own health challenges, she lovingly surrendered Lacey Loo to us. We’re committed to giving her all the care and support she needs to thrive. Please keep Lacey Loo in your thoughts and prayers. These little poms are so delicate. So far, she’s doing really well and showing us what true strength looks like. 💖🐾

Meet Jasper (Formerly known as A1862344)!On 4/13, we received a call from Barb Greschner about a 3-year-old Pom at OC Animal Shelter in urgent need of help after being hit by a car. Despite efforts to find his owner, we decided to pull him into our rescue on 4/14 for surgery, determined to ensure his swift recovery. Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Raviv Balfour treated his injuries on 4/16, uncovering an additional old fracture to the right tibia that was never treated. Jasper is gradually regaining strength, requiring hand-fed meals and assistance with walking. We're incredibly thankful for the overwhelming support from USSPUP, JW & Ida M Jameson Foundation, networkers Sarah Louraine Bauer, Tina Pommy, Kathy Hodge, Debra Mardi, and our devoted Pomeranian-loving community. A heartfelt appreciation also goes to OC Animal Shelter and the compassionate Samaritan who brought Jasper in, as well as to Raviv Balfour, whose expertise is invaluable in Jasper's journey.
February 2024 live adoption event! We apologize for the poor quality, but we believe it’s because of the wind and rain storm we were going through.
Wishing you a POMTASTIC season, filled with LOVE, LAUGHTER and FUR! 💫Paws 🐾 in the air as we welcome 2024!🥂 (Randy is doing fine, he has a condition known as alopecia)

Remember Hudson, the little Pomeranian that was abandoned in Bakersfield during the summer heatwave? Well we are still trying to get his health in order to make him available. In the meantime here’s an update on putting an end to the animal welfare crisis that’s happening right now and increasing daily. Please share and if you’d like to get involved please contact us. We can use all hands on deck to make critical changes in making the welfare of these animals top priority!
