Storm, GCHB. Sky Hi Hunt The Night King, had a great weekend in Lebanon last weekend in Owner Handled Groups. Thank you to Mr. Duziak and Mr. Sommerfelt for the OH Group 1 placements and to Mrs. Danelle Brown for awarding Storm OH Reserve BIS. We are both honored and humbled.
Voodoo, Sky Hi Hunt Black Magic Woman, 8.5 months of age. Today, I had Gavin to help with a couple of photos of her. Thank you to Ms. Erika Wyatt for awarding Voodoo WB/BOW on her first weekend out in the big girls ring in Lebanon last weekend. Unfortunately I was tied up with Storm so I missed getting an official win photo with her.

James is shown here after being awarded Best of Opposite S*x and OHBOB on Saturday for 5 grand champion points. The judge was too busy for photos so we got the obligatory win photo with Lake Erie in the background anyway. I don't know why we didn't get a photo on Thursday when James went Select Dog for 5 grand champion points. Thank you Mr. Michael Canalizo for finding James in such a beautiful lineup. He is GCH. I must say that this year's Regatta Classic was really nice. Good weather and our judges had a ring full of beautiful Greyhounds to choose from. I love that everyone got a little peice of the pie. James had a pretty good weekend in Madison picking up 15 Grand Champion points. Thank you so much to each of the judges who rewarded him. He was Select Dog under Mr. Michael Canalizo and BOS under Mr. Wu and Ms. Diane Divin. He is GCH. Sky Hi Hunt Fire & Desire(Ch.Estet Classic Genteel Ashby x Sky Hi Hunt Kissed By Fire). Lake Erie is the beautiful backdrop to all the photos.
It was such a pleasure to be able to show these two beautiful brindle boys. Wizard, Sky Hi Hunt I Put a Spell on You, lived up to his name earning a 5 point major at his first show at just a little over 6 months of age. He thinks he is the mayor and loved visiting with EVERYONE. I think he has a bright future ahead of him. And I was so happy the photographer captured several lovely moving photos of Falco, Sky Hi Hunt Rock Me Amadeus(I wish I had an unlimited photo budget). Both boys are co-owned with Jean Ault and Gerry Ault. Wizard is out of Ch. Sky Hi Hunt Moving In Stereo and Sky Hi Hunt Kissed By Fire. Falco is out of Ch. Estet Classic Genteel Ashby and Ch. Sky Hi Hunt Hollaback Girl.

Harper and Indy are co-owned with Reagan Baily; Courtney Bates and Jake Colli respectively.
Brooklyn, Ch. Sky Hi Hunt No Sleep Til Brooklyn on the move at Trenton Kennel Club Show. She had not been out since finishing with a 5 point major at our supported entry in Colorado last fall so she was not in love with the show, the rain and cold weather. I think she would have preferred to be at home warm and cozy(truth be told I would have enjoyed that too!) She is out of Ch. Estet Classic Genteel Ashby x Ch. Sky Hi Hunt Uptown Girl.
Reflecting on the past few days, I really want to say that I have the uptmost respect for all the people that work hard to put on these incredible shows and to the handlers that put in long hard days caring for and showing the dogs in their charge to their best advantage. After 4 days of shows, I was done. I said, "Put a fork in me!" For anyone who thinks any of these jobs are easy, you should walk a day in their shoes. Take a bow folks! You deserve to be recognized for all that you do!

Thank you to Patricia Cruz for the history of the Kentucky Derby being the longest running sporting event in the U.S. as it celebrated it's 150th anniversary on Saturday. We are looking forward to attending the 2nd longest running sporting event next week, coming in at 149 years, The Westminster Kennel Club Show. :)
It takes a village. Looking for volunteers to help set up the GCA tables with trophies for the specialty. If you can lend a hand, plan on getting there around 9:00ish on Friday. With enough bodies we can get it set up in short order. Let me know if you think you can help. Thanks in advance!
