It’s incredibly common for kittens to have an upper respiratory infection that usually just looks like the common cold does in us; watery irritated eyes, nasal congestion, dry cough, sneezing, and tiredness but not lethargy. Generally it’s feline herpes virus and it’s not a huge deal. Like all herpes viruses, there’s no cure, and outbreaks vary in severity, but usually go away on their own. In my experience it’s about a 6-8 day process from start to finish, with days 4-5 being the worst. Gemini is the last to get it of this batch and her eyes have been the worst I’ve seen since Rocket. Today is her day 5 and I’ve spent at least an hour trying to hold her while hot water is running to make steam to help break it up for her. I got absolutely wrecked for it by her talons in back. Worth it though. All that steam leads to these sweet dreams.

🚨 Can you help?🚨

Today has been a whirlwind trying to get two cats spayed before one of them, who is very pregnant, gives birth. I offered to help a fellow foster who took in stray moms and babies over the summer but doesn’t have transportation. I coordinated everything, but unfortunately, our original clinic couldn’t take them due to scheduling conflicts and unexpected policy changes.

Thankfully, I was able to find another clinic that could fit them in today, but it’s more expensive. The total cost for both cats is $130, and I’ve already received $60 in donations, which leaves just $70 left to cover.

💰 If you’d like to help these girls, donations can be sent to:
• PayPal: [email protected]
• Venmo:
• Cash App: $tabbyworthington
Or on my website at https://tabbystinytabbies.org/contributes

Even if I don’t get more donations, these girls will be taken care of. But every little bit helps, especially with transport costs.

These sweet cats deserve the best chance at a healthy, happy future, and this is a big step toward making that happen. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this post. Thank you for being part of this amazing community that makes fostering and rescue possible!

I've got two new kitties up for adoption!

Looking for Double the Love? Meet Cocoa & Marshmallow!

These sweet 3.5-month-old siblings are ready to find their forever homes! 💕

🐾 Cocoa: A calm, cuddly tortie who loves lounging in cozy spots and receiving gentle pets. She’s the perfect mix of relaxed and playful, with a touch of mischief when she pounces on her brother from up high. Learn more about Cocoa here: https://www.petfinder.com/cat/cocoa-74663821/tx/houston/tabbys-tiny-tabbies-tx2894/

🐾 Marshmallow: A playful, curious orange kitten with lots of energy and a big personality! This little chatterbox loves climbing, exploring, and interacting with everyone around him. He’s a bundle of joy who’ll keep you entertained all day. Meet Marshmallow here: https://www.petfinder.com/cat/marshmallow-74663747/tx/houston/tabbys-tiny-tabbies-tx2894/

While these two siblings love each other, they’re independent enough to thrive in separate homes. If you’re looking for a loving companion (or two!), Cocoa and Marshmallow would love to meet you. 🐾✨

A lady in one of the local cat groups posted earlier that her cat manny needs urgent surgery for a urinary blockage. He’s been seizing periodically since October 22, and she finally was able to do the mri referenced in the fundraiser, but she needs help to pay for the surgery because while she has pet insurance, they don’t pay the vet directly, so she has to have the funds to get the surgery to even request reimbursement. If you can’t help, please share.
