URGENT - PLEDGES NEEDED

Owner moved out 4-5 months ago and left him locked in the yard. He finally escaped and roamed the neighborhood where people threw the occasional bag of food out. He is extremely skinny and in rough shape. He is limping on his left hind leg, as well as an abrasion on his right leg.

HISTORY
Hero was placed with us by a loving but overwhelmed family who could no longer care for him. As a certified dog trainer and canine behavior consultant I continue to teach him new commands, and improve his manners daily.

Hero’s perfect home would be people with lots of energy and free time to devote to him. At least one person home much of the day. A home with another energetic, playful dog and large fully fenced yard. Owners who have experience with energetic, smart dogs and treat him as fully valued family member.

Rules
Children must be 12 years or over. No exceptions
House with fully (5 ft high min) fenced yard
Must have owned a dog in past 10 years

INFORMATION ON HERO
•Breed mix guess: Brittany Spaniel and Hound— probably Beagle

•7.5 months old
•Neutered
•Up to date on all vaccines
Healthy
•No health issues big or small noted in veterinary history or recent vet visit.
•On flea, tick and heart worm preventatives
•Commands he knows:
Sit, Come, Stay, Down, Leave it, Off, Wait, Give Paw
•Learning more commands now
•40 lbs
•Excellent disposition
•Sweet natured
•Happy puppy
* Super Smart
•Very willing to learn
•Crate trained
•House trained
* Great with older Children
* Friendly with All adults
* Loves Other dogs large and small
•Friendly to everyone he meets
•Great in the car and in new places
•Improving at heel and not leash pulling
•High energy, very playful
•Sleeps through the night (8 hours +) with no accidents
•Easy to groom and doesn’t shed a lot
* Doesn’t bark much

NOTES:
Being a puppy he is mouthy when playing, including nipping at times if played with roughly
He counter surfs
With access to backyard (doggy door) all day and evening he has had no accidents. But he needs frequent out door access

Hero is an extremely special, loving puppy who deserves a special, loving forever home
