Save the Date: Help Clear the Shelters on August 17

NBC and Telemundo stations across the country will team up with shelters nationwide on Aug. 17 for the fifth annual Clear the Shelters animal adoption drive. If you’re thinking about taking home a new furry friend, consider heading to Team Bedford ~ Bedford Animal Shelter to adopt during Clear the Shelters on Aug. 17.

Officials at the Humane Society of North Texas say all of their locations are at capacity. To help find homes for the animals, they're offering free pet adoptions all day Monday, Feb. 11 at every location.
