Shih tzu’s need regular brushing and grooming too! This poor senior girl, Cookie, came in pelted, matting completely to the skin 😭 Luckily the owner knew she would have to be shaved down, but matting that bad is dangerous. Some sores, curved long nails, and bad tear staining was underneath all that matted fur. Shih tzu’s should visit the groomer every 4-8 weeks, and brushed at home in between grooms. Cookie was a trooper and the best dog ever during her 2 hour shave down, and while she left naked, she definitely felt better! ❤️‍🩹

Happy Lulu! This Golden Retriever gets shaved down every few months due to natural hair loss, and is so good for her spaw day 🐾 at ! 🛁

I’m a groomer at Happy Tails Bath & Boutique and I was fortunate to meet Lynn Petty and her foster pups, who came in to use our self wash baths. Lynn is fostering 2 female American Bulldog Lab mixes, Darla and Mabeline, who need forever homes, and 2 bonded kitties, Frankie & Grace, who need to go together to a quiet home. All 4 came from a bad situation before Lynn rescued them, and they were all born in May 2022.
Mabeline is submissive, docile, and sweet enough to be a therapy dog.
Darla is dominant, more anxious and should be in an adult only home, and as an only dog.
While the cats need to be adopted together, Darla and Mabeline would prefer separate loving homes where they each get all the attention!
All 4 animals are fixed, up to date, and chipped, and Lynn has done an amazing job fostering them but needs to get them their forever homes. Plus, the adoptees come with all “accessories”: beds, cat trees, food bowls, food, etc.
Please spread the word and get these fur babies adopted!

Goldie and Penelope are enjoying the almost Christmas snowfall while their coop is being cleaned out ❄️ Once inside, they get to enjoy a 60° environment and cuddle up together for the night!

From the streets to the sheets 😆 Our rescue boy Charlie turns 1 year-old today! 🥳 Born to a stray mom and raised the first few months in loving foster homes through A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue Charlie now lives a permanent life full of beach walks, school drop-off car rides, and cuddles with his human siblings and his bulldog sister, Lola!
An all around goofy sweetheart, we couldn’t be more happy with our Charles Barkley ❤️

Happy Halloweekend 🎃 Unfortunately black cats are negatively represented as being spooky, evil, and unlucky. We highly disagree 🐈‍⬛❤️ but still, black cats are usually the last to be adopted (if at all) and are sadly messed with by some people (usually teenagers) if seen out on Halloween, especially Devil’s Night, the night before Halloween.

Halloween is no fun for any animal, with the costumes they can’t recognize and the candy they can’t consume, so please make sure to keep all your pets safe and inside during this Halloween weekend - especially your cats!

Our remaining 2 dog walks during this quarantine time enjoyed the 60° weather today! ☀️ We miss our Indie Pets, but know they are loving this extra time with their pet parents ❤️ Stay healthy everyone, and we can’t wait to get back to normal dog walks and pet sitting!
