Happy Adoption Day to my personal senior girl, Lola! We adopted her from Michigan Animal Rescue League back in 2014 when I worked there as an animal caregiver, and she came in with 5 puppies. They all got adopted, and I took her home forever! She was estimated to be 4-5 years old back then, and now, 11 years later she’s still a crazy bulldog! 🐶 But if you hear barking from inside the house when you come to drop off your dogs for a spaw day, it’s her brother, not her - she’s deaf 😆 ❤️

RIP to a true superhero to both animals and people: Jane Goodall. I was so lucky to have met her and heard her wonderful message about peace and preserving our natural world back in 2018 when she came to Flint, Michigan. My daughter’s middle name is Jane after her, and Jane Goodall has been an inspiration and motivation for me throughout my animal care career working in rescues, pet care, and dog grooming. She will be missed but she has left a legacy that will continue on forever!

Update: Pup’s owner picked him up and he’s back home!!

Anyone know this cute dog? Has a collar, no tags and no chip (checked by a vet). Intact male. One of my pet parents said he was dropped off at the Croswell police station and is still there. I don’t know this dog, so hoping our community does!e!
