“Ohhhh the human brought hay with the noisy bug!!”

This little Miss…affectionately nick-named Dunkey, is one of the most fearless and curious filly’s we have ever had the privilege of owning! We are excited to see what we can do with her as she grows!! :)

While we did not breed this filly we got an amazing surprise that 5 generations back she goes to our foundation sire “Nifty Horatio”. We are so happy to welcome her home!!

Okay, I have to tell you a funny story about this picture. She was messing with my gloves and I thought I'd dropped one. After I took the picture I was looking around for my glove and I couldn't find it. And then I realized she had the entire glove in her mouth. I had to stick my finger in the corner of her mouth and retrieve my glove

Miss Duchess was enjoying herself on her ride today. She's one of our lovely ladies at 18 years young and quite the lovely mare. A calm but curious mind keeps our rides entertaining some days. Who doesn't enjoy a little fun on a warm-ish day anyway? :D

They say that the eyes are the window to the soul. So how does an animal with a beautiful soul like the one in this first picture become just a number at a kill auction? I can't save them all, but thanks to Lindsey Bakke who paid her price, this one, sweet soul will be living out the rest of her days with us.
