I may have short legs, but don’t underestimate me—I’ve got a big personality and an even bigger heart! I’m a total lapdog who also loves splashing around in the water. Whether it’s a kiddie pool, sprinklers, or a fun day by the lake, I’m always ready to dive in for a good time.

I do best with a slow introduction to other dogs, but once I know they’re friendly, I’m happy to make new pals. What I want most is a forever family who will love my brindle good looks, enjoy my silly water-loving side, and let me snuggle up when the day is done.

🐾 Adoption Day Throwback! 🐾

These two sweet faces came to us as little mystery pups—like most of our drop-offs, we had no idea what breeds they might be. We guessed Rat Terrier mixes, maybe 20–30 lbs max. Cute, compact, and manageable, right? 😅

Well… they kept growing.
And growing.
And growing. 😳💪

Fast forward to today, and these "littles" are more like, well BIGGER—and their amazing mom wouldn’t have it any other way. 💕 She says she wouldn’t trade her giant babies for the world. 🐶🐶💖

From tiny paws to big personalities, this is what rescue love looks like. 🏡✨

We absolutely LOVE adoption updates! 🐾💕
Today we got a sweet surprise visit from Ivy, who was adopted from the Humane Society of Wickenburg two years ago.
She came to us as a tiny, fuzzy ball of fluff… and now she’s grown into a gorgeous young lady — the spitting image of her mama! 😍
It warms our hearts to see how much love our adopted pets are surrounded by in their forever homes. Thank you to Ivy’s family for giving her such a wonderful life and for coming back to share her glow-up with us! 💖

Cornflakes has officially charmed his way into a new family’s hearts! 💛

He’s now going by Atlas and has two furry older siblings to show him the ropes. We’re so happy for this sweet boy and his new pack!

Meet Skedaddle 🐾
This sweet boy had a rough start, found tied up with a note saying he couldn’t be kept. Despite that, Skedaddle has shown he has so much love to give. He does wonderfully with other dogs, walks nicely on leash, and even enjoyed snuggling up at night with his adopter.

Skedaddle is still learning to trust—he can be fearful of men and will give a nip if he feels very scared. Because of this, he needs a home without young children and with someone patient and understanding who will help him feel safe. With time and love, Skedaddle will show you just how loyal and gentle he can be.

If you’re looking for a companion who needs a second chance and will reward your patience with devotion, Skedaddle might be your perfect match. 💙

🎉 French Fry Came to Visit! 🍟🐾

Look who stopped by for a surprise visit — French Fry! 🥰

This handsome guy picked out his forever family during Woodstock in Prescott this past May, and it’s clear he made the perfect choice. He’s now 7 months old and growing into quite the big boy — tall, goofy, and full of personality.

French Fry insisted on swinging by to say hello (because, of course, he runs the show now 😉), and we were beyond excited to see how happy and healthy he is. He trotted in like he owned the place, tail wagging and tongue out, ready for snuggles and to show off his adorable self. It’s always such a joy to see our adopted pups thriving in their new lives, and French Fry is absolutely blossoming.

A huge thank-you to his amazing family for giving him the love, structure, and adventure he clearly needed. And thank YOU, French Fry, for making our day with your visit. Once a rescue pup, always part of the family. ❤️
