It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of our dear friend Jim. He was the first driver for Beaverdam Pet Food. He treated the truck as if he owned it - he treated each customer with respect. Jim knew every main road and back road. No GPS was needed. We thought the world of you Jim! You will be missed.

James F. “Jim” Megginson, Sr., age 89, of Hockessin, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2025.

Rest in Peace Eli "Truman" Schrock
It is with the greatest sadness that we said goodbye to our founder, our dad, our grandpa. Dad passed away May 14, 2024. He was 84 years old. This man never stopped dreaming - never stopped planning - never met a stranger.
We will have more details to follow, but for now, on behalf of him, we say thank you to each of you that followed along his last big dream of making Beaverdam Pet Food a reality.

Love our Greenwood community

Mark your calendars!! Saturday, Feb. 18th from 9am-12 noon stop into Town Hall and meet the awesome Town of Greenwood Police Department! Have a cup of cocoa, coffee and a muffin and chat with Chief Thomas, Cpl. Willey and Sgt. Thomas as well as administrative secretary for the PD Amy Carey. We believe events like this bring our Police officers and the community members they serve together–over cocoa/coffee–to discuss issues and learn more about each other. Hope to see you there!
