Ma was stuck in back-to-back meetings all day, so I decided to sneak out the doggie door for a little sunbathing while she wasn’t paying attention to me. Never mind that it was 17 degrees outside and I can’t maintain my body temperature on a good day……

Well, Ma eventually noticed me missing came outside and caught me…. Let’s just say I got in trouble. Now I’m back inside, wrapped in a fuzzy blankie by the heater 🔥pretending I regret my life choices.

Here’s to staying warm and (maybe) avoiding trouble tomorrow… or MAYBE she SHOULD pay attention to ME instead of the stupid meetings and these things wouldn’t happen! 🙃🐾

Not saying being sick is fun, but I’m not gonna lie… the perks were pretty sweet. Heated blankie, extra pets, and Ma checking on me a million times. She even stayed up with me till 2 AM—and no, it wasn’t just because of the New Year’s party!

I got to lounge in front of my very own fireplace all night and scored some stinky wet food for breakfast because I pretended I didn’t want my kibble. 😏 Not 100% yet, but definitely feeling better than yesterday.

Even gave Ma some tails wags for good measure!!

As sweet as Jazzy is, she is not a cuddler. Usually, if she’s in her favorite chair, or laying down ANYWHERE, and I join her, she gets up and leaves 😕 but she let me sorta cuddle with her today. 🥰 I’ll take it.

Happy New Years Eve! Please celebrate safely and responsibly—your animals won’t understand if you don’t make it home because you chose to drink and drive.

We’d also appreciate some good vibes for our sweet Peter G. today. He’s struggling to keep his temperature up and is very tired. We’re doing everything we can to keep him warm and comfortable. We hope he’s just having an off day! He was tippy tapping and chasing toys around just yesterday, but still had the shivers! 🐾🐾💔

Merry Dogmas from Peter G and family!

Santa came and spoiled us rotten this year, and now we’re all feeling that good kind of tired—the kind that comes from a day full of love, laughter, and wagging tails. Peter G is happily snoozing, belly full and heart even fuller.

To our Lab Rescue Hospice family, thank you for the love and light you bring into our lives. We’re so grateful for every moment shared and every wag of the tail.

Wishing you all a season filled with warmth, joy, and the kind of peace only a dog curled up beside you can bring. ❤️🐾🐾🎄

Jazzy will be available for Hug therapy sessions this Saturday @ the Painted Tree in Tulsa during their Christmas Open House. Jazzy will be there from 11-1 or as long as she take the hugs. Come by and see Jazzy then check out the beautiful boutiques.

❤️‍🩹🐾🌈WOW! It’s been a BUSY year here at Lab Rescue Hospice!! This year we’ve had more dogs go through the program than we’ve ever had! We’ve also had two wonderful Hospice dogs who have really surprised us and have lived over a year (Jasmine) and almost a year (Peter Griffen)!!
It’s amazing what some surgeries/medication and good ol TLC and love from our wonderful hospice fosters can do for a heart, soul and mind!

You’ll notice that we have expanded this year to other breeds!! We are one of the only hospice foster home programs in the state. Every dog you see here were all from shelters and had some time on this earth left and we wanted to give it to them! But it has been a very expensive year and we need your help to keep the program running! Even small amounts help!

I shouldn’t have to throw a fit for dinner scraps… but here we are!!! I gave a few barks and she finally gave it up! The special tonight was sloppy joes with broccoli & cheese!!! Ma gives us all frozen 🥦 trees before din-din, but that’s never enough! ❤️🐾🐾 Peter G
