We are a small kennel located in the Western Catskills region of southeastern NY state.

We focus on breeding healthy, happy family pets with the structure, drive and attitude to be versatile working dogs. We strive for the strength, stamina and congeniality of the historic Chinook; qualities that modern dogs can demonstrate in sledding, weight pull, agility, herding, tracking and obedience.

After the unexpected loss of his dog, Wolfgang, Steve Greig decided he had to do something to make Wolfgang’s loss feel purposeful. “I went to a shelter and said, ‘Give me the oldest dog you have,’ ” Greig said. It turned out to be a 12-year-old Chihuahua with four bad knees and a heart murmur, a dead-ender if there ever was one—he named him Eeyore. Since then, he estimates he has taken in 19 senior canines. Cows (or steers maybe more precisely)

Never a dull moment here. They just showed up, took a bath, left, came back for another bath, and left again. We called a couple of farmers who have these kinds of cows. Someone thought maybe they knew where they came from and were going to call those people. Just cows moseying on through on a hot Friday afternoon in July.

A birthday video from Willow. She says she doesn’t do command performances.

Wolfie doesn’t believe the time changed. As far as he’s concerned it’s time to eat. Now.

Sky doesn't like the fishing channel. Neighbors here every day, all day, fishing. All the dogs, but especially Sky, find it disconcerting. I yell at her when she full out barks, so now she's doing this.
